While I usually prefer physical versions, services such as Steam are very tempting. They often offer various games at a low price. I bet many users need to put a lock on their wallet when Steam goes on sale.Steam is also great for games with paid content. You only need your Steam Wallet to manage all your games. From a social point of view, Steam offers the user the ability to talk cross games and even compare achievements. It's also nice to have a nice library for all your games.Still if I had to choose between a game on Steam and a physical game, I'd pick the physical game. It's nice to see it laying around somewhere.
i don't use them.
Only Steam, it's the only one I trust.
I do use it. I don't particularly like it though.
I used steam for counter strike
I mainly use steam to get across multiplayer games with my friends.. it's also much easier to use steam since you can add non-steam games to it and play it through the steam link... Which means you can always see what games you and your friends play. And since you can also purchase games from steam, it's also useful for findning new games.
I have Steam on my computer but I didn't use it since I don't play CS1.6. :)
no i don't have it, and i actually never heard about it. since WoW is the only game i ever played. except for the starter edition of starcraft and the try out form diablo 3
I use Steam and Origin.Main reason is all the games i have else than WoW is on Steam or Origin and is the ones i play with my friends.Steam and Origin also gives the freedom of no disc and redownloadable on any computer with your account.
No, I don't. I have more games, but I don't want to use any other SW to be able to manage my games.
I don't use digital download services because i am not interested in them. Wow takes away all my spare time :-)
I occasionally use Steam but most end up playing WoW or other games recommended by the community here.
Yes, I'm using such services (Steam, Origin), because I find those services, especially Steam very good and reliable. I like the speed of shopping, it holds all my collection of games, and I can download and play any of my games any time I want...
I use steam. I have used a different site in the past, but it's been so long that I don't even remember the name. It's where I got Planetside and maybe one other game. Now, just steam.
I've started using Steam, because it was mandatory for Skyrim, but then I started to like it. It's really good to have majority of your games on one place, not to mention online storage doesn't get corrupted. And well their sales, it's pure evil :-D
Yes, I use Steam, but only very sparingly. I don't use any other collective game shops. WoW is far too demanding now overall, even with all the badges/fast lvling methods. Just so many dang dailies. God help you if you're an altoholic.
I use Steam for the purpose to play, buy and download games since it's much easier then to run to the shop buy it there and wait have it around like for always.Mostly I use Steam to play games when I can't play wow or something :D
I have Steam for about 6 years. Mainly for Counter Strike, DotA and Worms with friends :)Also got Origin (BF2) and uPlay (from Ubi Soft) thing as I played Assassin's Creed in the past.
I Hope to get that firing kitty
I use Steam. It has a wide selection of games, as well as some nifty features (security and otherwise, such as graphics driver updates). There's also a local Steam content server that mirrors everything for speedy downloads, as there is in many parts of the world.
