I'm more broke with anima than i'm with real life money

No. The amount of anima needed for upgrading sanctum things and buy cosmetics - basically make a choice - doing both is having no life. I have seven 60s - only one has 2s or 3s on the sanctum (and buys very little cosmetic stuff), the newer ones only have some of the sanctum things open (table missions/anima conduit/travel). I've always had a bunch of alts, this xpac isn't that alt friendly - yes a variety of ways to level, but once you are 60 - the new job begins.It feels way to much like a job chasing anima this Xpac, and I've never felt like that in all the years of playing. Too many systems to keep up as well - stygia, soul ash, anima, conduits, renown. Not really finding a ton of fun in this at all.Blizz needs to up the anima reward OR give us a choice between gold reward or anima - I'd take 25-50-100 anima versus the thousands in gold being thrown at us (Calling Rewards) that we don't need.Does anyone actually have enough anima to buy any of this and upgrade the covenant and do missions?No
I'm mad that I have 100 souls for the Covenant upgrades but it will take me weeks to gather enough anima to use them, and every week my souls for the weekly quest go back to the maw :/
ah yea logging unto my main to unlock the Harp cause we all know Hunters can now fire off harp arrows, beware villains the harp strings aimed shots about to be strong with the rhythm of my ppl/Sindorei, but fr I don't have anima to get anything cause gotta upgrade my garden n mushrooms but if I did and the only thing look worthy of getting is the glaive

So far I have focused on cleaning out the other 3 anima vendors who are not renown (i am NF). And I am still missing 2 mounts and 2 tmogs....before even starting on the renown vendor. So its looking like well over 10months, with close to optimal anima farming, to get it all.....on one covenant!
I'm sure there will be some very significant increases in anima gain in 9.1 and beyond. Currently if you do all anima WQs every day as well as clear the raid every week, it's still something like ~300 days to get everything.
I've not bought a single cosmetic item. It's too expensive to be worth spending time on imo.
Seriously, what the hell is up with the costs of these things? How is it even a reward, to get the privilege to waste tremendous resources on a single item? This is ridiculous.And here I thought I was almost done farming all the Grateful Offerings to buy everything currently available, on the first of the 4 Covenants. Nope. Need 500 more it seems.This is why they just lost 40% subscribers. Thresholds for collectors to get anything is just insane. They tripled the amount of time World Quests take, and then made it so you have to do mountains of them to afford even minor things. For collectors like me, it's not even worth it. It's an unclimbable mountain. And I'm someone that's quite hardcore about this sort of thing. I can't begin to imagine how the more casual player would perceive this.
