So glad I gave up on this weeks ago! What a waste of time
i mean changes to alt progression is great and all, but I want the option to skip the intro quests to stuff like this... not really relevant to be doing on a million characters.
Still have to farm Archivar's Codex paragon reputation every day for the damn devourer mount in the box. these changes are very welcome. Problem is: maybe i will be already done with the mount farm until the patch comes out in mid or late october. i dont wanna waste 4-6 weeks
They're good changes; but like most Blizzard changes: WHY wasn't this at the start? We still have no release day for .1.5 so, at this point this is still, what, a month away? You're hoping people keep playing that long.
Right now in the PTR the bonus rep counts past tier 6 towards paragon. And I think Diplomacy also counted as well (rep buffs did not count before). Not sure if this is intended but it will make the paragon grind for the mount and pet even faster (still missing the pet but I think I've only opened 4 or 5 chests).
I honestly think all of these patch 9.1.5 changes is too little too late
All of the things they change now should have been there with 9.1, which is already lacking good content! SoD is a huge disappointment, I barely see groups for Tazavesh, Korthia is just a boring place to farm reskinned mounts, the story is bad and progresses by 5 minutes every content patch. If 9.2 isn't the best patch they've ever made, this expac will go down as WoD Reforged, it's already worse than BFA in my opinion.
It is not too late. Yeah, the grind is a little to much now, but this changes are actually for alts and 9.1.5 is like a hiatus between patches to level alts and get everything running for 9.2 AND to get time to play other games. Very welcome!
At this point it really feels like they are designing subpar content only to buff it to a playable state later to keep people engaged with it for a longer time. I mean by now they should've learned that people don't like excessive rng on rep items or on armor tokens, they don't want to repeat long rep grinds on alts for mediocre gear and people don't want to spend a lot of time for a couple of measly sockets. Remember when the lootable items in Korthia at release used to disappear when other people looted them? The fact that you would get mobs agro on you and you couldn't loot the items in combat so people would just walk up and snatch the item from under your face? Why don't they know by now that that just makes people annoyed and upset? I don't get it, it has to be deliberate.
no idea who leveld and balanced this progress speed, but it was WAY too slow so far.but good thing, now that i am about done-ish, they fix it... whooohooo
Too late, but nice i guess
I drudged through the process to reach tier 6 rep on my main due to mythic raiding purposes (sockets), and I don't have any time to play any of my alts these days due to various in-game "systems" and my role as guild master. These changes don't do anything for me. Something they could have added to this are extra rewards for those players who already reached tier 6 rep. Something they continue to do is fail to have appropriate rewards for max level reputation. There should always be a mount, a title, a pet, a toy, a useful buff, a transmog item, and/or a useful piece of gear at mythic raid item level. As others have already said, these changes should have been implemented right from the start of 9.1. Ever since BfA, the players have basically been beta-testing the game for Blizzard. Time after time the players have given feedback in testing, only to have SOME of that feedback implemented many months later after most of the content has already been completed. It's such a joke.
Too late, i'm on my 6TH paragon box atm for the mount and stuff like this should've been there on patch day.
This should have been in the game from the start of 9.1, this is just too late (as per usual), so Im not gonna praise blizz for this.
