do we get any achievement by participating to that?
For how long this part of the event will run?
Sorry if this has been mentioned, but the sooner the rifts are closed, the sooner all can queue up for all 4...continuing to help the raid and not bailing on the second city is a good thing to do. Everyone and their dog was raiding Orgrimmar last night and nearly left TB in the dust (which does NOT start 10 minutes AFTER Org is finished...it was definitely getting owned as Org was happening). Granted, it doesn't mean anything because it all resets in a couple of hours, but the other two bosses will remain locked out for that invasion. Help the cause, don't wait in the wings. Nobody wants to rack up JP's more than I (over 200 in less than an hour isn't too shabby), but if there are 4 bosses open, that's twice as many queue spots available since you can't simultaneously queue for more than one...spread the masses!
For the people who are curious:No you do NOT need all 4 rift buffs to receive the FoS "Tripping the Rifts".Depending on the cities defended, they'll each unlock 2 specific bosses depending on the elements. Example for Horde: If you defend OG you'll be attacked by fire and earth elementals, unlocking the earth & fire boss. If you defend TB you'll be attacked by water and wind elementals, unlocking those two. - Same goes for the alliance with SW and IF.You do NOT need to be in the city, nor even in the same world to do the bosses, just push I and look through the list once the cities have been defended.Though it's claimed that all bosses share loot tables, that is incorrect. I suggest you look up on the bosses here on wowhead to figure out which bosses drops what if you're looking for something specific.Enjoy the event.
You don't *NEED* to be 80 to fight the elementals, right? If you're in a group with healers and such you can fight them at say... level 73? what about the bosses, can you only get to them via the LFD tool, or can you enter the rifts with your group?
did you notice that the advanced Aliance need to use sandbags and the primitive Horde get's awesome iron spiky fences xD
Haven't seen anything that contradicts it as of yet, but only been through 11 of the boss fights. (Theradras x3, Gahzrilla x3, Flamelash x2, Sarsarun x3). I don't know if it's equal opportunity drops per boss or if they have different percentages (I haven't seen the cloak or Pulminary Casing drop yet). I'm leaning toward the table for each boss being correct as I can't imagine an item like Cloak of Mocking Winds falling from Flamelash, and what I HAVE seen drop goes along with the boss drop table.
One of the bosses (The Wind one so far) drops a pair of mail bracers - please can you add to the list above, as it is not there.Sul'lithuz Scale BracersWrist809 Armor+114 Stamina+27 IntellectRed socketSocket Bonus +5 Spell PowerItem Level 251Equip: Improves haste rating by 49Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 48
What is the minimum level to do these instances?
Tripping the Rift achievement requires all 4 of the elementals in any area BUT not all at the same time. If you kill the ones in your level "range" there will be a daily quest available to you. :)
Thunder Bluff's phasing for the central rise seems to be bugged. Whenever I, or anyone else on my server, come near to the trapped citizens they disappear. Wondering if any other servers are having this problem.EU-Agamaggan.
