1. I miss the 40-man raids from vanilla WoW. I know they were hella hard to setup and manage but it really gave you the feeling of a team effort, especially a guild effort. Although I only got to try two full 40man raids (Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair), I can really appreciate the training it gave the raiders. Players nowadays don't know how easy they have it now. Back then, if you f*cked up, you had to answer to 39 other hard-working people why you messed up. It really taught responsibility and dedication to your work.2. Wailing Caverns. One of the longest, if not the longest, lowbie instances out there. Even on a 60/70/80, it takes ages to clear because of the sheer size! It's always fun to run my lowbie guildies' alts through it though. 3. Blackrock Mountain. Where else can you find not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE instances in just one place? Heck, you could spend days in this place and not get tired of all the things you could do here! The run back after the wipe sucks though, hahahaha!4. The old Alterac Valley collection quests! What better way to complete the epic battle than to collect mutilated body parts of the enemies you've killed? I'm not much of a PvP player but looting the twisted and torn remains of my enemies has always held a special appeal to me, for the HORDE!5. The Barrens. Mankrik's wife, raptor killings, raptor feathers, centaur killings, centaur hooves, 20 levels of sheer manic levelling with three instances to work through! Love it or hate it, everyone's going to miss the Barrens when theyre gone come Cataclysm.
1.) Hitting level 40 on my warlock (first character) and getting my felsteed. I was of the bunch of players that really went at leveling when wow came out, and to be someone not only with a mount, but one specific to my class was amazing.2.) Un'goro crater is a wonderful zone. The scenery itself is beautiful. The crystals give it a curious glow. And the first time a devilsaur sneaks up on you, is priceless.3.) The Vael fight in BWL. Still one of my favorites. Sure bosses these days have enrage timers, but in the vael fight, your raid died one by one. Now that's a timer.4.)Helping the my guild finish our first legendary, thunderfury. Helping get all the mats, and then killing the requisite mob in silithus was ... well. Legendary.5. My first MC run. I was sub-60, and the first pull wiped our raid. But we kept at it, and cleared some of the zone. We even recieved a trash-drop epic. And that was wow. Purple loot? /roll /pray (i did lose of course. there were a number of warlocks in that 40 man raid hehe)

My favorite's are below..1) Event - Guild 1 Year Anniversary / Death to the Troll We had an anniversary event in Stormwind. Members of the Horde and the Alliance came to celebrate (it was my role-play server). We ate, we drank, we shared Ventrilo information and yakked up a storm with the guild we actually had a good rivalry with in Southshore/Tarren Mill days and then the most recent Warsong Gulch's/Arathi Basin. Eventually one member of the Alliance who was deemed a troll or a member who people on the Alliance desperately wanted to kill - was actually Mind Control'ed and we proceeded to have glorious satisfaction. We killed him, had danced with him. Let's just say, it was memorable for the server - not just me.2) Dungeon - DeadminesMy buddies first went into Deadmines as a Paladin (myself), Priest, and Mage. We even have screen shots of that first Deadmines run. It was a pretty epic experience, walking through the caves unearthing the secrets of the Defias Brotherhood. It was also a pretty glorious feeling to destroy Edwin VanCleef; only then to understand that he was actually a vigilante of sorts. 3) Boss - RazorgoreI really enjoyed Razorgore. Razorgore's encounter required precision that really was not in the previous instances. You walked into Blackwing Lair, with a bunch of eggs and some Orc channeling an orb. I did not realize that you "controlled" Razorgore and used him to attack his own eggs, foil his plans, while defending him against his own minions by having a musical chair event essentially (that was how good those Hunters had to be, to keep the minions off the boss so we can clear the event). After that was over, the tanks had to position him right, fight Conflagrate and kill the boss. Fun fight, for sure.4) Area/Zone - The City of StormwindYes, yes. I started out as a Paladin. When I left the sanctuary of being a low level, fighting through Snobolds at Goldshire; I knew that I somehow "graduated" after finishing those starter quests. I walk through the gates as I am assaulted by the awe-inspiring Human Spirit, the music hits my ears and I smile knowing that my Paladin has a bright future. Walking through the gates meeting General Marcus Jonathan was probably the coolest introduction I had in any MMO previously.5) PvP Events - Westfall FaceoffSeveral guilds on my server still do this. However, there was a particular event where our guild had amassed a 40-man raid and decided to face off against the opposing faction, which there were 40 as well. Let me tell you, this was the closest thing to Alterac Valley at the time and we were only level 45 or so. It was even more hilarious when the Horde Shamans were the ones decimated by the Paladins. Lo and behold, Shaman was my favorite class next to my Paladin - so it was slightly awkward.
1. The Battle of Darrowshire quest chain. It's a very touching story. 2. Spending hours soloing Devilsaurs and Stone Guardians as a Druid, getting the mats for my tanking gear. It felt much more of an achievement than getting a lucky drop.3. UBRS. I had a lot of fun healing it on my Priest together with a Druid friend of mine. He was one of the few Druids who got to go dps in instances back then ^^ I'd solo-heal with him dpsing on trash, and we healed the bosses together. The Beast had a crazy knockback, just trying to stay within range of the raid was a challenge. And Drakkisath - conflagrate & lots of damage, it was always hectic trying to keep the tanks & the rest of the raid alive. 4. BRD - I once spent 8 hours in there with a group, completing the entire instance. There's so many different fights there... most memorable are the quick-spawning, patrolling packs of Dwarves where you need to get the torches. Lots of aoe, always moving, hardly any time to drink. Also taking a peek into MC, just to get wiped by the giants :)5. Healing in AV at level 51 - it was lots of fun keeping the epiced out Warriors alive, until some Rogue came to 1-shot me ^^
Hello I'd have to say Im really addicted to World Of Warcraft because there's always something to do and its a lot of fun.My best moment in "Vanilla WOW" was becoming a level 60 and being able to enter raids with 40 others. I'd Say the top five dungeons in the game would be: Escape from Old Hillsbrad. Because of what you can witness in the past.Azjol-Nerub. with its organic and creeps appearances. The Culling Of Stratholme. With A good twist on how you have to play this and who you have to aid. Scholomance. With The Amount of detailing Blizzard has put in the Props and enemies. Startholme. With its traps, planning, Units, and Storyline. My Five Favirote areas would be: Zanglarmarsh. With its amazing plants, colours and Wildlife.Icecrown. The Quests that you can do and the secrets you can find.Eastern Plaugelands. The Creatures that dwell around it. Western Plaugelands. The Creatures that dwell around it. Shadowmoon Valley. The secrets you can discover.
my top 5... that is hard actuly i got much to choose from so i will do it the easy way im going to list my top 5 for diffrent catagorybosses:1. RagnarosOf all the bosses in vanilla i have seen raggy was one of the most amazing i have ever seen.all from the model to his intro was awsome, the instance it self was not so amasing...(btw im playing on ragnaros server making this more amazing of an encouter)2.Van cleefthe first boss ecounter in the whole game for me so i must have it here on the list.he may not have a good intro, a good fight or a uniqe model but he had a hell of a backstory i really enjoyed.3.Neltharion(boss of bwl)This boss was actuly the real first dragon boss i fought well before CoA.He had a amazing fight mechanic i enjoyed and it just made it even better when i read up about him.Unfortunatly he had nothing much else going for him exep a really good model and nice mechanics4.OnyxiaFor the sole reason she was the first raid boss and that she had her fingers in every pot out there5.CthunHe is a OLD GOD what more reason do he have to have to be on this list?Areas1.teldrasili loved the atmosphere there and it was the first area i saw so theres not much to say here2.ungoro craterAtmosphere was good and a plus that i enjoyed all the zelda related quests there.3. elwyn forrestas before the key word is atmosphere i liked it because it was so serene, plus it had hogger.4.dusk woodsamosphere i liked the dark tone to all the quests there and to the area itself.5. wester/eastern plaugelandssole reason is that the quests there is good.Instances1. Shadowfang Keepas in the area top 5 its all about atmosphere here.i liked the whole werewolf theme here. im a big horror fan2.Blackrock DephtsIt was so hellish long and hard so i cant forget about it.and the quest chain for the princess had an awsome conclution3.Scarlet MonasteryWas a intresting concept that i liked and it all culmulated in the battle in living strat.Just love the lore behind it all.there is not much to chose from when it comes to instances unfortunatlywell this is my 3 top five i cant really come up with anything else unfortunatly.Main is Asshi(according to a translator it means crushed to death) Death Knight on ragnaros EU
1. Finding Mankrik's Wife, way too hard.2. Downing Ragnaros for the first time, hearing all the screams and cheers on vent.3. Achieving and on my hunter.4. Leveling with my friends in general, so much fun ganking, getting ganked, doing dungeons, and pvping all the way to cap level.5. Being a noob, first time ever playing, loved everything I did and being clueless about everything made it so interesting.
1: Meeting my first wow friend in Teldrassil, had the AQ quest to go to IF. well me and my friend both had to idea how to go to another continent, we took the FP to Darkshore and ended up getting killed by moonkins over and over again, it is silly now that I think about, but Darkshore has had my heart ever since that moment.2: at level 40 doing the painful grinding for a mount and when I finally got it at level 45, then riding it around Darnassus for hours on in, Darnassus also has fond memories of having guild meetings there, and jumping off the waterfall, good times.3: Blackfantom Deeps: having played no mmo before I knew nothing of instances and proper levels, luck for me, so didnt the rest of the group, my spec (as a druid) was divided and it was fun dying so much, we got 2 bosses down until my armor went red and we called it, thank Elune that the run was with guild mates, lol.4: WPL: felt epic in a way because it was a lore heavy zone, scourge all over the place and it just felt plain creepy, all the more epic it was just questing in the dark of my room and the glow of my computer screen.5: Sunken temple: one of the few dungeons I did on my first character (for some reason, your first character always sticks the best memory-wise) and I just remember tanking and running around lost, whenever i did and having to run back, getting lost trying to find the entrance.to me old world means difficulty and the feeling of accomplishment when you get over the learning curbs of your class, the lore and feeling of living it.I will miss the old area's, just because i have such fond memories of them and I just hope blizzard can continue making it feel as epic as it is.-Silverchip
1. Entering Ragefire Chasm for the first time.Me being an utter n00b to the game made me think:"This dosent look so hard..." and attacked a mob alone, i died. BUT, not b4 the healer came and tried to heal me, then HE got the agro and died, he then disconnected...we had been looking for a healer for the past 2 hours...end of day. But still, entering that shiny portal and seing the magma floating arund sure made me excited.2.My first BG. Ah...those were the days. My first one was actually Alterac, and I (still being kinda newb) didn have a single clue. I thought: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?111 should i do quests, should i fight? what was i supposed to do! then after wandering about, not realy paying attention i found a bunch of friendly players trying to fight a dwarf with a lot of HP. I joined in. i died..."The Horde has Won"I still did have NO clue whatsoEVER!3.The hours i spent trying to get to Mount hyjal when i reached felwood. This annoyed me to no end.4.The minnutes spent trying to get into Gilneas(stopping ater thinking about yesterdays Mount Hyjal atempt)5.Finnally I have this: Bying my first mount. Saving the money, grind the money, find trainer, buy raptor and skill, IM KING OF THE WORLD!11!1
1. Making my very first character, a troll warrior. I made it together with my cousin who got me playing the game, we didn't make it to level it, just to explore the world. And it was awesome, we had that feeling that you could NEVER explore the whole, it would take days to run from one end to the other. When we finally made it to Orgrimmar after a long and hard journey, we saw a zeppelin come flying in, and we discovered that we could get on it. Awesome! So well we got to STV, and saw this amazing jungle zone, but the joy didn't last long, shortly after we arrived we got killed by, and i think i never played that character again, but it's a very nice memory now.2. ZG. I love ZG . I really really love ZG. It's my favourite raid ever, it was there I had my first raid ever, too, when my guild managed to kill the snake boss. I also remember when another guild I were on got our first kill on the tiger boss, with only a mage standing alive, he soloed a couple of the elite tigers after the boss had died. ZG is just awesome. And after I had been to so many ZG raids without getting any loot, the first time my friend who plays a rogue goes there, he gets the dagger from Hakkar. dam3. Orgrimmar. It was the first capital city I entered (with my tauren :P), and just the experience, I remember I saw a druid in full T1, and I thought her gear looked awesome, and it was all epic! I felt like she was the coolest thing. Ever. I started wow just before the AQ patch, so when I got in Orgrimmar, they were collecting leather, cloth etc. As I remember it I were quite irritated that it was the alliance that had to gather linen cloth and light leather, as that was all I had. Maybe I just never found the guy to deliver it to.4. Dinging a whole level with 1 quest. When I first got to Orgrimmar, there were also the Elune festival and after doing a few of the quests there (including going to Moonglade, but I think there was a portal) I got some quest there, that for some reason, didn't scale with level, so it gave me as a level 7 as much as it should give a level 60, so it gave me a whole level to go talk to some dude. That was awesome too.5. Sunken Temple. A lot of people hating on this place, which I can't understand. I find it amazing, when I first went there I had finally finished the other parts of my hunter quest, one of the including killing like a hundred mobs for one damn horn, but I did it. Anyway, when we went into ST, none of us knew the way around in there, so it took a long time to get it done, but we did it, even though we wiped like 7 times on Eranikus. And out of it I also got an amazing helm.
