Congrats to Firebat!
Congrats, but I hope next year we will see more interesting games (watching zoo lock is no fun at all)
Congratulations to Firebat ! At the last game I really couldnt think that druid could beat handlock. The tournament was really fun !Let's see how the new cards will change the meta.
Oh my gosh, someone I've actually heard of won at a game I've actually heard of. I'M TIMELY!
This is very encouraging to Hearthstone Players of all levels:
Gratz... still it is not my game, but for those who like to play it, GO FOR THE HORDE :D
I watched most of the tournament - props to the casters (especially Frodan) for doing a fantastic job. And congrats to Firebat on his victory.
K O L E N T O B O Y S ;_;so sad finals wasn't kolento vs firebat. he didn't deserve to lose that early.
I'm happy for him. I think he truly has a heart of gold and is very humble. He deserves this, it's always a feel good story when someone who works his tail off gets rewarded for hard work rather than someone that has all the time in the world and wins. To me it shows you can have a life and become a Pro Gamer.
Nice trophy :)
Firebat seems to be a very shy guy. I was thrilled by the games between him and DTwo. It was soo exiting. Of course now I have spoilered myself, by checking here, before watching the finals. But I'm sure they'll still be fun ;) Anyway, congrats to Firebat!
Cool trophy, i'm gonna go find a video of the matches for sure.
I was really impressed with this feller from the beginning. The lack of "flash" and pomp was a welcome sight. I could easily see him NOT being ruined by a bit of fame.
Really enjoyed watching the tournament. Never really gave hearthstone a try before, might do that now.
Like everyone said - congrats to the guy but man....this guy has some really bad BM. It was off-putting when he did it. A little here and there is ok but when you are playing the best in the world, sometimes luck is in your favor allowing you to win. His opponents didnt bother with the cheap stuff because they were more respectful. Also, I'll just say it - aggro decks are not fun to watch. :)
I wonder what Firebat's parents thought when he brought home a check for $100,000? Hopefully they didn't think that was a scam, too! Gratz to Firebat and to all the competitors! I really enjoyed watching all the matches and I'm excited that e-sports are becoming more popular and better recognized as a legit form of competition.
Just started playing this, pretty impressed with this guy going all the way. Congrats!
