If the Alliance lost a place like IF, then the Horde would haveta lose a city too, and there was a post (either on WoWhead or MMO Champ) speculating that because you haven't heard about the Alliance moving into new territory. doesn't mean they're not...And that could mean that Lordaeron could be retaken....But then, once again, the cities are disproportionate. Ally have Gnomer, SW, Darnassus, and Exodar. Horde have Org, TB, Echo Isles...Unless you didn't destroy the new Goblin city with a volcanoe. So after this entire post, I'm gonna go with IF not being lost, but being redesigned, and no longer enclosed inside the mountain, but the mountain's top bein blown off, and forcing the dwarves to rebuld their city in a new way. Could be why the Gnomes retake Gnomer. Their lil haven in IF got blowed up. And havin an IF with no roof helps with the world PvP and being able to fly in Azeroth.
Yea id like to see the full city without being attacked
They could reclaim the city but have the layout/graphics altered to more of a city-like plan, but have the instance still inside the city like Orgrimmar and Stormwind.
I'm thinking a story-line driven instance (Like CoS) where players participate in the re-taking of Gnomeragan only to lose to something bigger by the end.
