This is not so bad. I'll take an extra 3 chances for raid loot every week
I wonder what happens to the last option if you do 3 mythic bosses, 3 heroic, and 4 normal. Will it be normal quality, or heroic?
I struggle to get azerite pieces from N'zoth for my hunter, I'm fine with this. I only hope that choices aren't locked and will be randomized each time
The third Raid loot says "Defeat 10 raid bosses" Does this mean you have to kill all 10 in a raid or can you kill 7 on Heroic and 3 on Normal and still get the third slot's loot (at normal of course)?
Raid and PvP loot is fine for choices as there is a limited pool of options to choose from, so a choice of 1-3 feels meaningful. With M+ it's a very different story. There's like 8+ drops for a potential character per dungeon, which translates into 64+ possible choices, if I'm being lenient with it. That's a really wide pool of dungeon loot which was a big thorn in BfA M+ for people trying to target a specific loot piece. I don't know the solution for this within the interface, but past comments by Blizzard on possibilities of the weekly chest did talk about being able to 'target' e.g. say Necrotic Wake loot by doing a ton of Necrotic Wake dungeons. This is a far cry from being able to choose your exact loot drop, but a bit more to account for the wide loot pool would be nice. Also another comment that said that in case you don't like any of your options, you can choose to get currency instead, which is also a nice fail safe.
so I have been wondering with the current UI in place:Didn't blizzard say there would be a currency or different option in place in case? Any new word on that?
For the raid chests. Can you only get loot from bosses you've killed?Example:If I kill 10 mythic bosses but nzoth wasn't one of them, could I still get nzoth loot?
Anyone know if this applies to LFR as well? Yes I am THAT guy. I don't lack the ability, I lack the time regular raiding requires. But for LFR I never have to worry about bailing out because someone else can easily take my place
They really need to lower the raid requirement to something like 1/2/3. As it stands right now, no one is going to want to sit on re-clears, even on bosses they don't need loot from, if it means they can hit the next tick for weekly progress. People who can't be in for all the kills are screwed.
So how long before some elitist starts raging about how a guy that killed 3 mythic bosses got loot from the last boss? XD
This post does not say what the item level of the piece is. I'm guessing that it will be +10 item levels from the raid difficulty involved, as a replacement to Warforging.
Well duh. Still 10 dungeon requirement though. That needs to go, or at least be account wide.
Haven't seen an upgrade in months. I'm glad they are adding this but I feel it's too late for me to even care anymore.
