A heroes’ journey is long and fraught with danger, but our goblin engineers have managed to cobble a little something special together for you to help make the path to power just a little bit easier.

Beginning Friday, May 30 at 9:00 a.m. realm-time, through Tuesday, June 10 at 9:00 a.m. realm-time, we’ll be applying the Heart of the Valorous buff which will increase the rate of Valor Point gains an additional 100%. Don’t wait to get in on the action!

With the launch of patch 5.4.8, Siege of Orgrimmar equipment has improved item level caps. In order to allow players to quickly get in the summer Valor and upgrade equipment, we decided to open limited Heart of the Valorous buffs!

Heart of the Valorous - for the duration of the time you will be able to get 100% extra Valor points. Open the time period:

At 0:00 on May 31 - at 23:59 on June 1
At 0:00 on June 7 - at 23:59 on June 8

Open during limited hours, you can play with friends, or do the daily tasks alone, or group with randoms, Heart of the Valorous will help you gain Valor faster!

Please note: This buff can not raise the weekly Valor Point cap.

For half that time, I'll be doing the Darkmoon Faire. During that time, I'll be able to do my farm, and do the Darkmoon Faire on all 11 alts on the server.

On the Sunday and Saturday, I MIGHT be able to level one of my lowbies.

So... No valor for me, for half of that...

But in the rest of the time, my main has a bunch of gear that can be upgraded. in other words. the usual content consuming aids that before came in the form of raid nerfs, not come in the form of currency earning and gear upgrading buffs.

They are trying to imitate the company that developed Diablo 3 and pretend they treat their customers as good but they don't. With a monthly fee you're basically getting a near useless pve only bonus. "For this week's bonus, only play our game 2 hours instead of 4. But hey we still got your money!"
