I really don't have a dog in this fight, but I do stand on the side of thinking that it should be just a bit more difficult to repeatedly (key word, there) swap between covenants. Your choice should feel like it matters for more than a few hours a week. In the end though, swap, no swap, won't matter to how I play my characters (unless there *IS* an achievement for going through all four, because I do like my nerd points...).That said, some of the comments here are just way too high-strung and antagonistic, and maybe anyone getting worked up about this topic should step back and take a bit of a breather.
If this won't get changed it will be the "end" of shadowlands,we're going to replicate bfa.
Stubborn to the end Blizzard dammit, they did the same trash with the essences instead of simply binding them to account. Covenants are not balanced at all and they will be balanced multiple times during the expansion so people will obviously want to change, why not let them?. This covenant system would be great in a single player RPG were minmaxing is not common or mandatory because you have no competition or mandatory metagame but WoW is a MMORPG and it doesn't work here like that unless you can change as you want your decision. Why? because if you can't change the option how are you going to experiment with them in the first place? just experiencing the 4 covenants will take a month of real life with this stupid system.Sorry Blizzard but it's not me, it is you.
So pick two covenants is what i'm seeing. I don't think this is how its going to end though.
I did not read and follow a lot about all this coven - conduits thing. Can someone tell me if I change spec like from bm hunt to mm will I have same conduits? Will I have empty slots so i can farm it or I will have conduits from like bm on mm spec?
Seems long for no reason other than just to annoy people. Either make it so that you CAN'T ever change or remove the power attached to them.
So some complaining it’s too easy to switch and others complaining not being able to switch whenever you want will destroy the game. I realize there were a lot of problems in BFA and people are worried but maybe calm down a little I think Shadowlands looks like it has a lot of potential and I’m looking forward to launch.
I would prefer not to be able to swap easily. There is two path Blizzard could go with player build, the Diablo 3 way where every class can do everything and is same boring spec choice, or the Path of Exile where they are a ton of different build and unique gameplay styles.Do you really want to remove all choice and identity and turning WoW into a MOBA with no player choice and 3 buttons each?#CutTheRipcord
Thank you blizzard for stopping the ‘need to be optimal at all content at all times’ crowd
People act like they're incapable of making a choice. Which is really funny, considering.
