Apologies for not reading all the comments thus far, in full... but when Putress popped his head over the cliff to give his, "Did you think we had forgotten...?" speech, The Lich King's initial response - even in hindsight - of "Sylvanas!" was very telling... he had an inkling that she was involved, but he may not have been 100% sure as to what level she was involved at.Add to that that she lied to the Orc Emissary, during the Worgen start zone Quests, we know full well that her personal agenda isn't entirely pro-Horde.BTW... and this is slightly aside the the main topic; is it me being slow, or is any link between Grand Apothecary Putress & Professor Putricide purely speculative: the Red Dragons made short work of the Forsaken instigators as part of the Plague purification, so it wouldn't be that short a conclusion that The Lich King took his body to be a used as an ally.
I stand by my warchief. No matter what she did she is still better than the alliance leaders; the prophet who abandoned his people, the dog who hid behind a wall, the priestess who acts like a Queen, the gnome who lost gnomeregan, a dwarf council created by force and let’s not forget anduin the king who still hasn’t pardoned the defias brotherhood.

No matter what the truth of this particular issue is there are two things I try to keep in mind.1. Be careful what you wish for. What's Azeroth going to look like without Sylvanas? Who are we going to hate and want to get rid of next? Do we really want Baine and Anduin the two big faction leaders? Sitting through all those campfire sing-alongs might start to get a bit dull.2. Pure evil is boring. I like to think she didn't order the attack at the Wrathgate. I like to think that when she wished Varian good luck at the broken sure she meant it. A small touch of humanity, even a drop of internal conflict makes for a much better villain than a cardboard cut-out with "BAD" painted across it.Lastly a question. In this article it says " in Legion, an expansion of relative faction unity, Sylvanas tortured and killed a civilian simply to grant Nathanos a new appearance." I know what happened in Dark Mirror but I have no memory of this. Can someone fill me in?Thanks
She was always evil. Her apothecaries were cooking up plagues to unleash on the Scourge and the living since vanilla. She is no better than the Lich King, and the only reason why she has lasted this long is because the fanboys love a pair of marshmallows, even if they belong to a creature as evil as Arthas or Sargeras.
'she's always been undead hitler, you guys didn't know?'yeah can't imagine why people are upset.
Ohhhh, as a forsaken player I always wished that the Wrathgate weren't really a coup!
There is another option here. Namely, that this being a Blizzcon where they could not even confirm what classes Zandalari and Kul'tirans could be until afterwards, and where they presented a Mobile Diablo game to a hardcore PC crowd and expected applause, Alex could have been babbling out of his ass.
