Classes

Death Knight

Frost

Frost Strike now deals 10% less damage against another player.
Obliterate now deals 10% less damage against another player.

Mage

Frost

now stuns other players for 4 seconds (down from 5 seconds).
Ice Nova (Talent) now deals 20% less damage against another player.

Priest

Glyphs

now reflects 35% of the damage (down from 70%) with the Priest's own Power Word: Shield while in PvP combat.

Warrior

General

Execute now deals 10% less damage against another player.

Arms

Mortal Strike now deals 10% less damage against another player.

PvP

Ashran

Fixed an issue that could cause credit for winning an Ashran event to be tracked incorrectly.

Honor and Conquest are no longer currencies. Honor Points instead increase your Honor Level. As you increase your Honor, you'll get gold, artifact power, and Honor Talents.

In PvP content, you will get a preset set of stats for your specialization. Your set bonuses, enchants, legendary bonuses, or trinkets will be deactivated.

Gear can still improve your character in PvP, but as an example, a 25 item level difference will result in a 2.5% difference, not a 25% difference.

There are no specific PvP stats or fluctuating item levels in Legion. You can still earn some gear through PvP.

New PvP gear includes Vindictive Combatant and Vindictive Gladiator gear.

End-of-season PvP rewards will be awarded separately to the top percentages of players in each faction, not overall playerbase.

Prestige Levels: Reach Honor Level 50, which grants access to high-level PvP talents. Or you can turn in your Honor Level to gain a prestige level for rewards (titles, artifact appearance, mount, pet)

Possible datamined rewards include: Prestigious War Wolf, Prestigious War Steed, , , , , ,

Shorter PvP seasons - more frequent rewards.

Two new arenas: Ashamane's Fall and Black Rook Hold Arena

Thank you for having the discussion. To provide some more information, here are the honor requirements for each level. We intentionally have the initial levels with less honor so that you are able to get a PvP talent in each row very quickly (by level 10).

Levels 1-10: 750 honor
Levels 11-20: 875 honor
Levels 21-30: 1000 honor
Levels 31-40: 1125 honor
Levels 41-50: 1250 honor

In total, it takes 50,000 honor to reach level 50.

Artifact Weapon Sources

First style: Recover 4 Pillars of Creation, Reach exalted with one of the factions in the Broken Isles.

Second style: Complete the Class Hall Campaign, Unlock all Artifact Traits, Research full history of your artifact.

Third style: complete the quest "Ancient Power," Defeat Gul'dan, complete a Challenge Mode dungeon using a level 15 keystone.

Fourth style will be entirely devoted to PvP: Ranks 1, 4, 8 and 12.

Reminds me of the white war talbuk from TBC that was bugged for YEARS with the purple hooves/horns. Blizzard finally fixed it only for people to whine they liked the bugged version better so they reverted it. I always hated the bugged look so I only use the white riding talbuk. The white war talbuk is the only TBC talbuk I don't use. Is it so hard to add two versions of the mount and either let us have both or let us trade for one or the other? Hoping the blue hooves on the skeletal warhorse is a bug, but knowing Blizzard, it's intended. It'd be one thing if the hooves went with the color scheme of the mount, but the only one it looks semi-decent on is the white one. Even in that case, I would have preferred grey over blue. There's no blue in the rest of the mount. The others look terrible. The red/green one looks like a Christmas tree. Did someone who was colorblind recolor the mount this time?

Still waiting on updated racial mounts. Chances are the recolored skeletal warhorse in this post is for PvP only since the original vicious version is ... and probably will be one character only rather than account wide. Only updated PvE racial mount we've seen thus far is the kodo and it'd be pretty stupid for Blizzard to update a whopping one mount. May as well hold it back and update every mount or at least half of them in one go.Comment by RaynreI need need NEED the sixth artifact skin datamined for BM hunters. Those titles, those artifacts, those mounts! I'm going to enjoy PvP for the first time... in ever. I'm partially sad that the only bear form I like is tied to PvP, but given that I can attribute my artifact power to any artifact and I already have plans to farm the prestige system heavily, shouldn't be a problem!

I am really not looking forward to the idea of farming all of that honor for multiple characters/classes, though.
