What to do with anima objects you collect on character/alts BEFORE they reach Level 60Note that you can store Anima you happen to gain (from quest rewards, etc.) in the Anima Reservoir in your Covenant Sanctum even before you reach level 60. Right-click on the NPC at the Anima Reservoir and then click on the "Deposit" button and the anima will be stored in the reservoir. I am looking forward to spending some of the anima without having to go out questing in order to do my first upgrade to the transport system. OFC, the alt I did this on was using the Threads of Fate alternate levelling method where you choose your covenant in Oribos during the early stages of the process.;)
There's a con you're not mentioning. You're going to miss out on appearance collections if you don't level at least one character of each armor type via the normal method.
After doing the campaign on my main I see ZERO point or interest in repeating it for my 20 some alts. Even if I only played 5 there would still be little interest especially with this expansion where even the campaign seems awfully grindy! Doing the campaign you either do the campaign and side quests and 1, count it 1, dungeon from the covenant you are currently working on and that is it...nothing else. And then when you move to a new zone you only get to do the dungeon from that zone! Seems stupid they lock out dungeons from zones you have already completed the campagin on.To make matters worse you then have to re-unlock zone dungeons after you hit lvl 60 which is stupid as hell! More grinding just to continue with gearing in dungeons or raids. At least with Threads of Fate you get to choose your leveling style. If you want to quest, you quest, no different than doing the campaign quests in my opinion! If you want to occasionally do a dungeon or BG...it will break up the grinding feeling being able to do other styles of play, and all the while gathering anima which is a grind in itself once you hit lvl 60!. Best to get a jump start on that BS early!Hands down the best leveling experience if you are a tank/healer is grinding dungeons, mix it up with an occasional side quest, BG or WQ and you will be 60 before you know it. Even if you have a slower queue as a DPS only class you can at least stay queued for all the dungeons while doing side quests and the actual leveling time will be faster than just doing quests. Meanwhile you can go gather mats for crafting and earn XP at the same time and be ahead of the curve for when you hit 60 and won't have to grind out those professions from scratch! My biggest beef with the leveling system is not being able to do all the dungeons once you hit 60, especially with the campaign system locking you out after you have already completed the campaign in a specific zone....just plain stupid design decision there.
i wish there was a system where we could turn off gold rewards while leveling and just get more XP
