For me it'll always be Universal Explorer. It was something anyone could achieve with a bit of perseverance and some devotion to time and effort. A lot of it you ended up doing as a natural progression of questing and leveling, which is how I got interested in getting it in the first place. For both Horde and Alliance there were a few spots that involved a good adrenalin rush, especially if attempted at lower levels (I can still remember on my first ever toon, running like hell as a level 50 Blood Elf Pally through Darnassus praying I wouldn't get one-shotted). It's lost a bit of it's luster with flight available in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. But I still think it's worth trying for every new player to the game on their first character. I can still recall when I got it for the first time. I'd done everything in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms and Outland. All that was left was Northrend. Except for certain segments of Storm Peaks, Scholazar Basin and Icecrown I'd already explored most of Northrend via horseback. It being my first toon, scrounging up the cash for Cold Weather Flying took a fair bit of time. Finally I got it and began the slow, slow flight around Northrend. I made a point of finishing the achievement by arriving right in front of the Icecrown Citadel. It lent a true sense of finality to the accomplishment. I continue to make a point to get this achievement with every character I create. It's fun, a bit exclusive (too many players just can't be bothered), and still gives me a great feeling every time I get it.
My Accomplished Angler achievement. I grinded and grinded for the one last step for the meta and after thousands of casts all my hard work payed off and finally got the last achievement. Gotta love the Salty title :)
On wings of nether On Wings of Nether because It has been the only thing I've ever farm.I was really happy and tired when I finished, and then I wasted all my money on the mounts...my money...
I'm proud of so many. >.< Loremaster and the Seeker before the cataclysm hitKinglsayer with my guild. (i didn't have to pay some other guild or realm transfer for it even in our crappy realm)What a Long strange trip it's been on the first year it came out. (the hardest cause now it's nerfed and easy)Over 9000. (to show what an achieve $%^&* i am)and so many others. >.<some more that stand out. getting "the noble" title on a lvl 11 toon. :pand "ambassador" on a lvl 55 toon before cata. (i was actually only aiming for exalted with trolls but got this unintentionally :p)
I am 100% pure nerd. I have watched and loved dragon ball z ever since it started. I make jokes relating to it 24/7. "IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND" would have to be my favorite achievement of all time. When i first saw it, i laughed for hours because i didnt expect it and i just love whenever this joke comes up (but not when someone blurts it out when it doesnt make sense). It took a crapton of work, but 100000% worth it. ALL TIME FAVORITE!
The achiev I love is Going Down? Even though it's not hard to get it is kind of fun to jump around wondering if you are going to get the achievement.
Mountain o'mount was my favorite because it shows how the gold is so easy gatherable when i think at my 5 traveler mammoth ....
I would have to say my favorite achievement would have to be Make Love, Not Warcraft. I mean hell who doesn't love hugging some guy we just killed? why not add insult to injury I always say. Unless your one of those people who wants to run around hugging any and every dead body they see just for the lolz of it. But either way, this is one of those achievements I go and get just for the lolz of it on every of my toons. I think it would be bamf if they gave some kinda title for it.
I have a few favorite achievements. , , , ... But I think my favorite is one I actually have on multiple characters, but this favorite is the one my holy priest got. There I was, healing my pocket tank through the Nexus while we were leveling. The DPS were good, people were actually chatting, it was a really awesome run. We got through the first boss with ease, and pushed through to the second. He went down with only a slight bit of hiccuping about the rifts. We looted, /cheered and /charged, and leapt from platform to ground level!Or tried to.Tank landed. DPS landed. Healer? "Oooooooohhhhh shiiiiiiii---" VWOOMM Medissyn has earned the achievement !I couldn't stop laughing at my formerly male, blood elf priest, spinning around in white strips of cloth and wings. None of us knew before then that Spirit of Redemption form counted. It still makes me laugh.
Rivendares charger. I got that thing on my second try ever on my hunter. I told myself i wouldnt freak if i got it. But i did. And i ride that thing everywhere. On my worgen. So fun to make people jelly with it
I am definitely most proud of my Grand Black War Mammoth achievement. It was my first multipassenger mount, and I couldn't believe it when I won it. :)
Lieutenant Commander, Feat of Strength from Vanilla, reminds me of fun old times with friends long gone.
Insane in the Membrane, if we count Feats of Strength! I remember getting it right before they took out Shen'drelar. I was sweating bullets let me tell you! I still remember turning in that last darkmoon deck in Terokkar Forest - the rush of completing the hardest and most painful achievement in the game was amazing. (also, the most expensive. Well over 50k gold spent!)If we don't count feats of strength, it has to be my Bane of the Fallen King. Earning it just before the 20% Dodge debuff was removed, and the feeling of camaraderie that it inspired in guild. My raiders really worked hard for it - and earned it. We even had a tank die in P3, we had the person tanking the spirits taunt it long enough for the other tank to be B-rezzed! It was quite the fight, and I haven't felt that sense of epic achievement since then.
Hey There Moose here again sadly I missed yesterday's post so tonight story will be a good one! My favorite Achievement is Tabard of the Protector! It was a exciting time in Azeroth! News of the Dark Portal's Reopening had spread like wild fire Demons the size of Houses were spilling through the gate intent on one thing and one thing only... Doom for our world.Heroes from both the Alliance and the Horde rushed from all corners of Azeroth to stop them and on the slopes of the crater of the Dark Portal we Fought...Clad in epics from Zul'Gurub, Adorned in my mighty Dragonstalker's Helm I watched as Raiders from all Guilds charged to meet the demons head on. Even the mightiest of Raiders clad in armor from the Original Naxxrammus Raid were there. I waited for a slow in the demonic invader's flow and charge the portal and Lay traps down along with all the other hunters and quickly return to our postsWe fought the demons for what seemed like forever when we started to be overrun just when all hoped had Failed 2 heroes appeared Melgromm Highmountain and Lord Marshal Raynor both leading brave marshals and Tauren Hunters. with their might we eventually retook the Dark portal!for my service I was awarded a Tabard of the Protector by the Argent Dawn later I was given the achievement few knows the battle of the dark portal but everyone knows its Outcome... Victory...
