The achievement that granted me my title of Explorer, Universal Explorer, was my favorite achievement. I did it as soon as achievements went live. I covered every inch of every zone, riding around on a land mount to find all of the areas within Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. It was an amazing feeling to know that I had seen the entire world, braved all of the opposite faction's zones, and emerged alive.
My two favorite achievements are Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde/Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance and The Undying.Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde/Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance because of the effort I put in to get them. I have both achievements on my warrior. That's right, after a faction change I cared enough to do the Argent Tournament grind a second time from scratch. I hate feeling that I have to log in do dailies each day because it makes the game a chore for me, so getting the Crusader title and its related rewards was quite the effort, but it was well worth it. The Undying because I got it on my ~3rd ever clear of Naxxramas shortly after hitting 80 in Wrath. I was still learning the ropes of the expansion and my own class, so it was an ego boost to earn the Undying in a 10 man raid when warriors scaled horribly versus 25 man mode and I was undergeared and inexperienced to boot. Oh, we also 9 manned most of the instance.

I guess I'd have to say Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10 player) as it is the one I invested the most in. Honestly, though, I'm not a big fan of the achievement system.
Herald of the Titans because the requirements stayed the same for the whole of Wrath, getting never got easier. My group was the Alliance first for our server.I was asked by a guild mate if I wanted to join an Ulduar group that was gearing up to do it, I accepted and we ran through the first 12 bosses getting gear for everybody. After we killed Yogg, I realized i had enough badges to go back to Dalaran and buy the badge gear to fill out my set so that we could start attempts that night. We ended up getting the achievement that night with around 1 attempt left on the timer.
Maybe not my most favorite, but I felt like I'd really accomplished something when I finished What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been within a few days of the start of the Brewfest holiday that marked the first time people could complete the achievement. I absolutely detest pvp and managed to live through too much of it for my liking to complete this, but it was totally worth it. Just wish the violet drake had had fancier skin for all the hard work.
(Loremaster) - and doing it through the Shattering. I was 100 Kalimdor (i.e. easy for a level 80) quests short of achieving Loremaster when I was completely caught out by the Shattering - woke up next morning and had to man up and start over again. Then of course for completeness, I had to do the 'new' Eastern Kingdoms quests again.
By far, oustanding every other achievement I'd pick This choice is not only because of the awesome and beautiful Violet Proto-Drake or because of Grateful Dead's Trucking, but aswell because of the other achievments that are linked to it. All these holiday events, epic in their own way they give a new dimension to WoW. I remember when I was raiding Icecrown Citadel and I kept wiping on Professor Putricide, when i noticed that Hallow's End had started. I could just throw all the frustration of wiping away by having fun putting out fires or 'beheading' the headless horseman. And ofcourse the brewfest, i can just take some beers irl and get totally wasted ingame and do the most crazy stuff by spamming guild chat with songs and throwing empty bottles of beer at gnomes and dwarfs (both irl as ingame)These are just two examples but I think the point is made. By getting this achievement I think you have really experienced every single thing WoW has to offer. And after all, that's what a videogame is all about right? Having fun? And in the end I's not really the achievement itself that makes it epic, it's the enjoying of WoW, and noticing you have an achievement that not much ppl have is what it makes it epic as it is.And last but not least; With the drums of war pounding in the distance, it is easy for the denizens of Azeroth to forget all that life has to offer. You, on the other hand, have mainteind the dignity of the good races of Azeroth with your ability to remember what we fight for. To not celebrate our victories is another form of defeat. Remeber that well, reveler.May others be inspired by your good cheer.Alexstrasza the Life-Binderepic, just epic.
For me it would have to be For the Alliance! My reason? There doesn't need to be if the achievement involves killing Garrosh and Sylvanas. Apologies to Baine Bloodhoof. This achievement is one that takes skill, which many others just take mindless actions at certain times over and over to get and that is why I believe this is the best achievement ever!
Realm First! Guild Level 25I'm most proud of my guild for achieving this and I'm proud because I know I helped with my dailies and guild-group heroics grinding. It was painful; you could hear people sounding strained on vent after the third dungeon and this was right after raid and 4-5am server time. Even so, all of us helped out in one way or another and we're all delighted with our lion mounts. :)
I would go for Veteran of the Shifting Sands, because it was a damn long epic quest chain, the AQ opening event was awesome. It's sad that they removed said quest chain.
My favorite achievement has to be "What a long strange trip it's been". The sheer amount of patience needed to complete that goal makes it a lofty goal, but once complete it's very fulfilling.
