Howling Fjord Howling Fjord, the sky is just amazing!
Elwynn Forest. Hands down. That's where I started WoW and I loved every second of it. I still love starting toons there just so I can go get me some gold dust ;-)

My favorite zone would have to be Deepholm. I love the ambiance of it and how creepy it can feel being stuck in there trying to close the Maelstrom during the quest chain. Plus pebble's manic nature is priceless.
Hmm, in terms of pure aesthetics, Crystalsong Forest is my favorite. Unfortunately, with virtually no quests there, the zone didn't get anywhere near as much love as it should have.In terms of the zones themselves, I'd have to say Hyjal. Had some pretty solid questlines.
My favorite zone would be Storm Peaks its music is so peaceful and relaxing .
There's actually so many to choose from! I think after much deliberation I'm going to have to go with Old Hillsbrad/Southshore (the area inside Escape from Durnholde). All those years ago in TBC we finished the dungeon, and I went for a wander down to Southshore. Before I even get there I come across human Kel'Thuzad! That's pretty epic in itself right? So I explore some more, and take a peek inside the inn, and who's sitting around there? None other than Fordring, Mograine and some other NPCs I forget the name of. If you sit nand watch them, then you see the story unfold and the dark crystal forged into the light version that then makes up part of Ashbringer. This has always been my favourite part of WoW lore...the whole story. To see part of this re-enacted...well, it's just brilliant! I'm glad I went exploring that day.If I remember rightly, Captain Sanders is in the inn as well, and some small children are playing around outside (children that will soon become bosses in SM - Whitemane, Mograine jr). For me, that whole zone if just a place of nostalgia and slight awe =)
My favorite zone is Hillsbrad Foothills (6 Years ago! so way before the shattering :D). The ZONE was the birth place of PvP. Man when PvP system was released it was a chaotic zone.. Always pushing back and forth from Southshore to Tarren Mills, spending hours just PvPing at that zone and also was cool when you would've logged in the next day or I believe after server maintenance on Tuesday (cannot remember... so long ago), you will be looking forward if you Ranked up from Private to Corporal or even Sergeant. etc. Good times...
The moment I entered Shadowglen for the first time in Teldrassil. That was one of the most emotional moments in WoW for me.
My favorite zone would probably have to be Burning Steppes. When I first leveled once upon a time and hit Burning Steppes I started the same old boring quests, kill so many dragons, kill so many ogres, and it seemed like almost everything was elite. It took forever and just when I got bored I got the quest to head into BRD for Marshal Windsor. Who would have thought where that chain would lead me, ending ultimately in front of Onyxia's lair ready to kill my first dragon. And then I suffered many, many gruesome wipes.
My favourite zone? Its definetely Felwood! Why? Couse I play a warlock and zone with a lot of Fel flames and demons suit my character the most:) And there is a lot of GREEN(green fire ftw)
Uldum, specifically the cut scene that re-enacts the fight scene in front of the propeller of the plane from Riaders.
There was something kind of peaceful and relaxing about Nagrand. The rocks floating above the earth, the Throne of Elements, the wildlife, even Oshu'gun and the Forge Camps all had just a beautiful landscape. The last vestiges of nature on a world destroyed by mad men. It was a bastion of hope for all who set foot upon the lands. It was there that we first saw a different side of Garrosh as almost a mewling warior unsure of himself and his role in the world. It just shows how the harsh realites of the other zones and Azeroth itself had on him and why he's such an @$$ now.
I really like Shadowmoon Valley.Lots of interesting stories (about Gul'dan, Teron Gorefiend, Illidan's Demon Hunters, Nether Dragons, etc.), nicely done overall layout and graphical design and, last but not least: there's Black Temple.
