The Barrens before the shattering. Not because the zone was especially good in terms of quests and appearance, but just the memory of running around on my fury specced warrior with a sword and shield, not having a clue how to play properly or where any of the quests objectives where. Good times.
My favorite zone is Icecrown. The quests chain of Tirion and Arthas story are excellent :)
I loved storm peaks, due to the awesome quests that the zone held (blowing up a mammoth etc.) and ofcourse the ulduar instance which was in my opinion one of the best raids ever to exist.

Mulgore. Peaceful, lots of open space, and cool views.
Aww, I don't play since Vanilla (which I regret really bad) so I my favourite zone will be a new/revamped zone in which I have quested and blablabla. So, that eerie piano in Dragonblight kinda makes you feel the cold in there, han?All that snow, the dragon bones, the dragonshrines, Scarlet Crusade! GOD!That awesome chain that makes you be "face2face" with LK himself, Alliance and Horde fighting together against the same enemy, woot!WYRMREST TEMPLE! Alextrasza pure ownage! What am I forgeting... NAXXRAMAS! WOAH! Although I haven't played Naxx40 I had MUCH fun in that raid instance. The visual, bosses, music! 40men inside that should be SCARY, but I'm happy with my 10-25 experience, it was really great. And talking again about the music... that's the most freezing piece they've ever released, and it fits so perfectly ~crying~Uhmm, that's it: Dragonblight! :D
Deepholm, is amazing how Blizzard can do even more incredulous landscapes and beautiful than those already created.
Hmm. It appears that for some reason my first post didn't go through. Anyway:After reviewing over the zone list in the webstie, I must say that the one that sticks out in my mind would be Blade's Edge Mountains. Not exactly the most memorable zone at first glance, but I just think back to questing there and the general Bad-ass atmosphere that permeated the whole zone (Black dragons impaled on natural spikes?@#$ yeah). Plus, the dailies were really fun, and were in fact among the first dailies Blizzard ever added, and quite successfully in my opinion. Add to that the fact that Ogri'la was maybe one of my first factions raised to Exalted, and you got a winner on account of nostalgia ;)
It might be a strange choice, but I'd have to go with Deadwind Pass. That zone just has the perfect feeling, a dark, eery, small mountain pass, with a canyon in the middle and some small paths that take you to this huge, creepy tower. The only inhabitants are some Ogres, and of course the undead that roam the area infront and below the Tower of Karazhan. The only purpose the zone has is housing Karazhan, but the entire zone fits the Karazhan theme so magnificantly. I'd honoestly be terrified if I had to go through a zone line that in real life. The zone is also so perfect, that all you'd need is a few actors put in and you'd have yourself a damn good Horror movie."Deadwind Pass"In theaters November 2011Rated "E" for Epic
I prefer Feralas because of the beautyfull forests and the wonderfull use of light.
Badlands, for the nice quest chain involving Deathwing.
The Barrens ofcwhen you did not have a mount, walking through that zone was epic, atleast for me it was
Oh dear, my favorite zone is definately Stranglethorn Vale (back in Vanilla). The intensity, the knowledge of level 60s lurking in the bushes waiting for the best opportunity to gank low levels. Oh it was such fun back then - sometimes you had to go away from the computer for an hour just so you could ress and get back to questing.Oh yes, you loved it too! :)
Hmmm, i would have to say without a doubt that Tanaris is my favorite not really sure why, almost all the quest zones are made fantastically but Tanaris just stuck with me.
