Nagrand has my vote for sure! When i first started and was leveling my friends kept telling me how hard it was. I was scared but i entered it and it was love and first sight. A paradise it is then environment breathtaking flying around there just takes my mind back to when i first started playing, absolutely brilliant! Not to mention Mr. Nessingwary is there :D :D
Personally, I love Zangarmarsh, it's just such a great place to be. I don't really like leveling up new characters but when I do and I get to Zangarmarsh... it doesn't feel like leveling, it's just plain fun!
My favourite zone has always been Nagrand, ever since I first saw it when I was leveling my first toon. Each and every toon I have leveled since has been taken to Nagrand, so that I could never forget it, and the experiences I had there. The first time I ever came into Nagrand, I was struck by how different it was to the bleakness of the rest of Draenor. It was beautiful and lush, and just... alive. It was then that my friend told me to look up, and of course I did, and my breath was taken away by the beautiful scene painted into Nagrand's heavens. I sat there, forgetting my quests and levelling, just amazed at what i saw before me, and silently weeping that I would never get to see something like this in my outside world.I cried again, doing the Hero of the Mag'Har quest chain. I cried when Thrall discovered his name, and I cheered when he showed Hellscream the glory that his father brought to the Horde.I will never forget Nagrand. It will always be my favourite zone. <3
My favourite zone must be the old Tirisfal Glades. I had just gotten my account, and created this awesome undead warlock. I started running around, killing stuff. I then saw these wierd marks over the other undeads heads. I then started doing the quests, and I saw soon level 7. (Took me about 3 hours.) then I continued my epic journy. I was level 11 when I reached Brill. Then I logged out, deleted my warlock, and made an orc warrior who is now my main.I love Tirisfal Glades off my whole heart.
My favourite zone was Un'Goro Crater because it was so pretty, and because it also had a bit of danger. Who knew that such a large T-Rex could be so sneaky!Since the Shattering though I really like Vash'jir - its a really unique atmosphere and questing underwater gives the old grind a new twist.
Dustwallow Marsh! The music really sets the mood, and as a whole, the zone is, in my opinion, one of the better put together ones. It's ominous all the way, and I can clearly remember being on edge the first time I was questing there. I never level an alt without going there!
Pre-Cata Hinterlands. There are so many quests in one spot! Pick up quests, exterminate the zone, and turn in upwards of 10 quests at once!
My favorite zone would have to be, Dun Morogh, it was the first zone i ever quested in, i started playing in the winter and i thought it was cool that the game changed to the rythem of the seasons, even though thats not how it works, it is still great to think about what a great game Warcraft was to get into.
Vashj’ir would have to be my favourite zone :) It’s incredible intro totally captivated me as soon as I got there. It’s my favourite as the story/quest line/lore of the place is absolutely awesome, the music is so grand, floaty and mysterious and all the flora and expansive scenery is amazing (under water caves, fluorescent flora, immense shells and huge gaping canyons, how can you beat that?). I overall love this entire underwater zone and how it has been presented both visually in every way and also from a story telling perspective :3There’s so many amazing zones in World of Warcraft I had a hard time picking one, my other favourites are usually all forest/jungle themed zones (Teldrassil, Ashenvale, Un’goro Crater, Stranglethorn Vale and Sholazar Basin – they feel so ancient, beautiful and mysterious) and of course Nagrand, with it’s tranquil and expansive green plains and floating parts of land with trees and waterfalls ^.^
Ashenvale.I had been bored of an orange floor from about lvl 3 so it was nice to finally get to somewhere with trees xD
I have to say that my favorite zone in the game would have to be ICC, I fell in love with this raid, and now that Cata is out, I miss raiding there, still in the process of finishing Shadowmourne, but with no ICC25's anymore it might be a tough task lolICC just looked so bad ass fighting your way thru a undead castle all the way up to the throne of the King of the Undead.
