Best zone in WoW is definitely Duskwood. It has the greatest chain quests and the best scenery.
I would have to say Deadwind Pass/Karazhan. That zone just sticks out from all the rest, and has always left this "creepy" impression on me. Plus, the music in Kara is amazing. Ahaha. Would love to see something done with it in the future.
I can't say for sure why, but I've always had a deep fondness for Thousand Needles. Leveling up my very first character in BC, it was the zone I was in when I first met actual challenges, and had to learn how to overcome them. It's where I got past the "look I am in a shiny place shooting bad guys!" phase and discovered WoW the game, and I've been hooked ever since.Mulgore is a very close second, just because I want to have a picnic there.
Easy, Grizzly Hills all the wayTons of bears, awesome music, worgens, good storyline, 2 pvp areas for pvpers:D
When I used play the Alliance side I really liked Red Ridge. This was the zone I always looked forward to because it was a good a spring board into the higher levels of the game. The quests were fun and I liked how I could complete a bunch of quests in small area and turn them all in at one time.
I have to go with Stonetalon Mountains, specifically because the Horde questline is awesome and the only one in Cataclysm that has outdone Redridge Mountain, in my opinion.
Hey, for the first time I don't work here—and I'm allowed to enter these things! My favorite zone in all of WoW is probably the Eastern Plaguelands. That goes back a while—when I first started playing WoW I was coming over from Warcraft III, and I was a Scourge player. Part of the reason why I wanted to play WoW in the first place was because I really wanted to get a real first person view of what the Warcraft universe looked like. I loved the Scourge—Scourge architecture, especially. What I wanted most of all was to walk through those giant Scourge buildings and explore. When I created a Forsaken character, obviously, I quickly realized that the Forsaken and the Scourge aren't the same—and Forsaken architecture is just human architecture but broken. I was really disappointed—as cool as the Undercity was, it still wasn't an opportunity for me to explore the game world I loved so much. So for all of vanilla WoW, my goal was just to level high enough to reach the Eastern Plaguelands, and explore the Ziggurats and Slaughterhouses. Eastern Plaguelands was kind of the pot of gold at the end of my leveling rainbow. :)
Nagrand forever Quests epic Animals/Npcs epicThe zone its self..... EPIC
Dungeon: UBRS when it was a 15 man. It was my first "raid" zone.Raid: Black Temple. I've raided every raid zone that's come out in the game, incl Naxx 40 but none really matched the enjoyment I have had from BT for some reason. Probably because it had the right mix of trash/bosses, not too overly tedious and not too short.World: Nagrand, I liked the scenery and the style of quests. "Do a bunch then come back and get half a level of experience in one shot". Fun to do while watching a TV show, the new style of quest lines make it more difficult to do that since you have to pay more attention to where you're going and the like.
My farvorite zone is Stranglehorn vale, because its a really nice zone, and there is many animals, and sweet grapic.
I think Grizzly Hills would be my top. Some other favorites would be Howling Fjord, STV, Zangramarsh and Nagrand, maybe Vash'ir. Shame you don't really get to go to that zone much, or any other than Stormwind/Org.
