Most definitely Druid Tier 6. Nothing ever looked as good as that Helm and Shoulder combo.
T6 Lock, hands down. The random wings sprouting from the helm are fantastic. My cousin got the whole set and after seeing it for the first time I immediately started leveling my lock who sat at level 21 for a year and a half, just so I could get it too. It took about a month and a half but I finally got it, and to this day I still have the helm and occasionally bust it out and run through the streets of UC jumping off the bank into the river hoping one day maybe I'll be able to fly like Icarus.
In that my main character is a mage, I've always liked the Netherwind Regalia set best. The appearance is properly mage-robey (whereas several sets don't look like cloth armor at all), and the set bonuses on it are solidly good even now (though the stats are a little poor to keep up to current levels of adequacy). Also, it looks 'magical' without being hideously gaudy, which is always a plus in my book.

The tier 0.5 druid set, Feralheat Raiment, is my ultimate favorite. It has such an iconic look and has vibrant colors--the spaulders in particular are an eye-catcher. It was also the hardest I worked to complete any set of gear, and to this day I carry it around with me in my bags and have a specific armor set devised for it which adds other druid-appropriate items, such as the Band of Cenarius ring and the Hyjal Savior's Pendant..Nowadays when I wear it around, I get whispers asking me about it, and I always feel a twinge of sadness that new players don't have the option to experience the epic quest for the tier 0.5 gear. I feel lucky, and proud, that I had the chance to do it.
TBH, I started playing WoW only with the release of Cataclysm. I don't really know much about the older tier sets, only a few which have been featured in other media. Yeah, that's right, I only know about stuff because I started playing the TCG earlier than the online game. And if I go by that experience, I would put my finger on the Vengeful Gladiator's Vestments. I know, it may mean nothing special to you because of the Bloodfang set, but it holds a special memory for me and that's enough for me.
I would definatly say the Warlock Tier 5 for the decoration Blizzard developers have put onto it. With the skulls, the colours, and the spikes the skulls are mounted on. It looks beastly on blood elves and so. Especially Nyhm XD.
Vestments of Faith, Priest Tier 3. Loved the design of these.
My favorite tier set would have to be Tier 5 for Hunters, the Rift Stalker set. Partially because it was the first tier set I ever had, and that brings back fond memories. Partially because the mask makes me look menacing. But most importantly, it heals my pet for 15% of the damage I do! That was such an awesome set bonus for soloing stuff.
Still a big fan of the ICC gear for shamans (sans-helm). The shoulder animation made the look. Some of the tier 2 sets are still pretty iconic for various classes, though, so can't rule them out either. Would like to see an updated version of some of those some day with the new level of detail they put in things.
Warlord's Aegis is the one for me. It may not look as fancy as Judgement, or Redemption, but when you see a Blood Knight in full regalia, complete with a tabard, you know this one has been through a lot and means business, (s)he is efficient, dedicated and ever vigilant, guarding the kingdom of Quel'Thalas.Mind you, it looks horrible on taurens.
Wow, a hard decision. While i'm generally biased towards Warlock tiers (and lets face it, until T11 we had the best-looking sets), there is one tier that seriously made me want to reroll my main. The Ten StormsIt reminds me so much of Thrall from his WC3 days - the wolf-themed shoulders, the crackling built-up electricity... someone wearing this set speaks to me as one with immense power held in check by even greater wisdom.
Gotta be Shaman T10. The 264 set with the frost detailing was 1. amazing looking, 2. Had a Kilt like all real shaman sets should have and 3. Had the best 4 piece I ever used on an elemental shaman.
Warlock T5 just summed up the feel of the Warlock class perfectly. Plus it was the first set I fully completed in the game ^_^
for me the best looking tier is the warrior T3, Dreadnaught's Battlegear
