only reason i hate multiboxers is taking all the nodes and herbs i try to farm. people like that have no place in this game, farm like the rest of us with 1 toon not 5-10
This won't change anything as the main problem has always been botting which they haven't done anything about.
This is awesome. Now they just need to get rid of that boost spams in LFG.
I'm happy they've chosen to make this decision, but I fear it may have less of an effect than many of us hope for. More often than not, in the time it takes for there to be any significant action against an account that has been reported for this activity, the botter or multiboxxer has made enough gold to sell for RMT to make a profit and get a new account to do so. Perhaps it'll at the very least slow their efforts but I dont foresee them going extinct.
You can tell how uneducated the masses are. This does not change the economy whatsoever. Multiboxing had no effect on this. Imagine prioritizing multiboxing over bots that auto post items on AH, and gathering bots that flood the auction houses and tank all the prices. Luabox has been around for how long? Like i think as long as or longer than honorbuddy. The people or i guess bots in this case have always played against the ToS. Like you may hate multiboxers but they always played within the rules. JSAlso with the wording you CANNOT have autohotkey up at all while playing wow. Which is a software that could be used for multiboxing but is generally used for work, and other games (that allow it like path of exile), or even to solve mouse issues from preventing double inputs. Which is kind of monkaS. Just make sure to maybe get a script or something that kills the program entirely from your processes. Since we all know blizzard is pretty much allowed to see whats going on in your processes. which should be against the law but it is what it is.
In unrelated news, game time is now only being sold in durations of one year.
I love all of the clueless Asmongold sheep who think that "normal" multiboxers (2-5 accounts) were the cause of all of their problems. As someone who multiboxed 2-3 accounts for 8 years I can tell you that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about and should just shut the ^&*! up. NOW the large scale boxers that were running 40 accounts were a problem and that is a fault of the game allowing multiple battle.net accounts logged in from the same system. That was indeed an issue and should have been dealt with. Since I stopped boxing the day they announced the original change in the ToS I have debated keeping one or two extra accounts around but now with this new change I do not even want to chance having two accounts up and have some Asmonsheep report me because I have a toon on follow or something. Keep blaming multiboxers for all of your failures and just watch all of the bots, scammers, and gold sellers flood the market with items that used to actually have people behind them.
Neat but it could be better. we just need to add some kind of mechanic which makes swapping between clients a bit harder. The more clients they have up = the more "lag" between being able to do actions with their character, so that m-boxers wont deplete nodes in the matter of second with their 10 man groups but those running a reasonable accounts wont be punished as much, if any at all. There are people with deft hands that definitely can switch fast between clients w.o. using any helping software but i call BS on the people that can get in 10 gathers in like 4-5 seconds, no way its without something extra helping them.
Slay the multiboxers. Slay them all!
A billion druids cried in perfect unison
Now make something against the real problem: botting (skinning, herbalism, mining, aoe farming). The real problem wasn't the multiboxers since the last policity update in that topic.
Good, they are a plague to this game
