And so I am right...GG Blizzard. GG Ghostcrawler. If you can't fix it - break it the hell down.If you can not stop people from rolling brainlessly - JUSTIFY IT. YEAH! EASY!
Amazing as usual Ghostcrawler....Even more amazing if you gave warlock's a death strike and a blood shield mastery =P

If you're not going to raid, why do you still want better gear? You can still get away with lower gear and still do the content. You can still use Valor to upgrade that lower gear so it is almost as good as what you get from raiding. You can still do LFR to get some gear. There is also a lot more to do then just raiding now, and there will be even more in Mists.
Hopefully this will end the loot drama. I don't like how they removed the 1 hour Trade Thingie tho. =/
I am a bit hesitant on the new lfr system. The system will just pick something for us, weather we want it or not, if we need it or not... There are going to be a number of cases where the item will be a duplicate or something you don't actually need... and with this system there is no way to pass, trade loot to some one who needs it, or disenchant. At least give us an option, if we have an enchanter in the party, to DE an item if is unwanted.
The AoE looting is gonna kick ass for us mats farmers.
1) Sounds to me like the new loot systems shifts the priority to WHO wins instead of what's on offer... Tank Warrior, for example, wins the roll; 'what's in the loot options for Warrior Tank?'... X, Y & Z; RNG decides which of those pieces the 'winner' gets.IF, however the Tank (in the example above) is looking for DPS, OS gear, then they have to run same content in THAT Role to get the gear they want - simple.Like it... long time coming, IMO.2) AoE Loot is all well & good, as long as it leaves items 'potential/residual value' free & untagged, to be looted by whoever may have a use for them; scenario:Trash group gets killed & player X AoE loots the group... X decides that they don't want the grey/white/'piece of cloth' etc item that's shown in the loot table and rejects it. At this point, said item should be freed up for 'first come, first served' or auto deleted from follow-on looting. I'm sure that's the issue I encounter with another game I play, where items are 'selectively' AoE looted - subsequently 'tagged' - & cannot be 'scavenged' by those that may have some use for them (typical example is, as shown above, pieces of cloth rejected by those who don't have prof's that use them). If the 'one out, all out' (OK; rejected by first looter = auto delete) clause isn't brought in, then introduce a mandatory 'take-all' override for Dungeon AoE loot.
Hmm... according to a recent post, it looks like I've wasted 5yrs in WoW if I'm not in some way over-eager to go Raiding. How long ago did IcC go live...? I'm stil 6/12 Normal-10... and in no major hurry to 'remedy' this. When did ToT(G)C go live...? Still not completed...OS +3 10 & 25 - completed a few months ago with groups of OP L85's because I was bored...Cataclysm Raiding hasn't even figured on my to-do list out of refusing to brown-nose to Elitism, in even it's most infinitesimally low-level ... and while Raiders are more interested in watching videos (or battering content to death in PTR, so they can 'ace' it the second it goes live) & excluding those who don't, I'll continue to sit on the sidelines & watch other race past me & break-neck speed on their road to boredom and having 'nothing to do'...I play WoW for my own reasons & if I find Faction rep. grinding more interesting than Raiding, no-one - repeat, NO-ONE - has any grounds to say that my reasons for playing are any less valid than those of the most seasoned, hard-core raider. I don't pay my subscription to have other people TELL me what I can & can't do by way of game-content... if I want to experience certain content, I'll do so at my own rate & those who think otherwise can take a long walk off a short plank.
Allow OS to be considered only for multi-Role Classes (Warrior, Death Knight, Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Monk & Priest), by adding an option @ the 'Choose Role' screen that can detect OS & alert "Please prioritise Main Talent to be considered for Loot Roll options?".Once choice is made, then log choice as an in-game cookie that can be used for Gear disputes w/ GM's (so Paladins can't cheat & say Tank, when they're Healer, etc).Would that work...?(Edited for omission)
