Neat and isolated character moments like this is where they excel. It's just that they fail at storytelling with their grand reveals and cinematics.
Good to see that Blizzard remembered characters that interacted in WC3.Unlike tyrande and Illidan at the end of the Nighthold.
No mention of Jaina's talks with the spirit of uther near the end of wrath. Both in halls of reflection as well as at the end of the ICC raid (okay they didn't talk there but they were 10ft away from each other)
This is cool and all but its so little, the Anduin cinematic is so short, why cant these characters have long conversations? Think of what they've been through, all they have to say to each other is like 11 lines of text? Thats the problem with WoW, they don't let us spend enough time with these characters, we play an expansion for 2 years or more and we get like 5 minutes of reading from each of them at max except for the 2-3 main characters.
The 'deeper' (I use that term loosely) we get into Shadowlands lore, the more inconsistencies I can think of. Blizzard opening the "afterlife" door is just so messy. Why is Warcraft becoming Star Wars?
Uther being twice Jaina's size feels a little bizarre, ngl
12 weeks of time-gated content to have the same conversation they had last time, with worse writing than S2 of Heroes during the WGA strike.
"Buy the book to learn more of their conversation."I feel like this is being done way too much by now. Same story with Thrall and Draka, Mograine Jr. and his father.
They have 100% talked after Strat, unless Uther just doesn't remember any of his conversations as a ghost...and on the flip side, Jaina doesn't remember talking to his ghost...like at all.
dude who made this dialogue try to copy halls of reflection dialogue or what kek
Oh, look! The strong female charcter still in love wiht the bad guy and her love will save him. because the bad guy was just a kid who was suffering, and not a adult man doing what exactly he wanted to...it was his girlfriend fault he turned a bad guy...duh.XD
I don't remember Jaina's and Uther friendship to had ever been explored. But of course, being Arthas paladin teacher and girlfriend respectively, they must have met often in around Capital City.
Uther was split into two parts: one sent into Frostmourne that we see throughout WotLK and one sent to the afterlife that we see throughout the Kyrian campaign. Same story as with Sylvanas: each part knows nothing of the other.I agree it's surprising Jaina would deduce this so fast as to not discuss the WotLK part with him right then, also how quickly she's to accept Kyrian Uther after seeing Anduin dominated - unless of course the Jaina we liberated is also dominated by the Jailer or is a Dreadlord serving Denathrius :))
