The battle for Nazjatar change seems more annoying then actually serving to fix anything. I’m just glad I farmed they items I wanted before this change
I like it for the shard I play on. Horde vanish in the minutes before the event starts so its hard for Alliance to get real credit for winning. Now they won't be able to do that.
Sigh. Having to wait for random spawn times killed Timeless Island for me back in Pandaria. Leaving WoW open on second monitor and doing something else on first, because you just have to sit and wait for unknown time that might be many hours. And you can't even move away to do something else in the meantime, because then you might not make it back in time when the spawn happens.I am playing the game to actually PLAY. And I do not think gameplay of waiting is a good gameplay design.
Yeah, because I have upwards of 3 hours to wait on the Battle for Nazjatar to start and just sit logged in, waiting there just to do it. I don't have other things to do in life. Nope, I can just sit in Nazjatar and hope it randomly starts.Want to start a M+? NOPE, better not and risk your time window assuming you only play a few hours a week. Who makes these decisions?
Yep, this has killed it for me. I really enjoyed the world pvp. But I don't have all day to sit in Nazjatar and wait for the event to start. Blizzard could have fixed this by disallowing conquest rewards while in raid or even just the battle for Nazjatar rewards while in raid. But instead they tried this totally random @#$% that makes it impossible for people to be there when it happens. I was in Nazjatar from 1pm ET until 3pm ET today and there was no battle. So if it is on average the same "three hour" cycle and used to start at 2pm ET, then I should have seen a battle but I didn't.
As far as I was aware, Battle for Nazj groups would purposely not camp the starting points of the battle, because a too-inbalanced server would cause the battle to not spawn at all. Therefore, we'd all be waiting in Mezzamere or Newhome before swarming the capture points. While I don't mind the change (It keeps people in warmode outside of that 10 minute window every 3 hours), I feel like it won't change that much. People will just search for the nearest battle in the groupfinder. The possible benefit I see is that if it's been a while since any shard has seen a battle, both sides might form large raid groups, and it would actually be a battle.
What a garbage change for the Nazjatar Battle. This be nearly 100% negative feedback I reckon.
Not sure how this "fix" resolves anything other than waste player time, but then again, that's how they seem to measure engagement these days.
