Horde will be boring again?
All these people that think Sylvanas is going to get axed, omegaLUL. We're not even halfway through the expansion and people think they know the end, lol.Higher chance of Sylvanas becoming Kerrigan 2.0 and &*!@ing off from Horde leadership than getting cutdown.
YES! YES!Bring back the REAL horde!Down with Sylvanas!
This is just Dagger in the Dark! Holy !@#$ this IS an MoP retread!Jesus is the writing department so brain dead that they need to copy/paste expansions now! I am at a loss for words.
I don't want to be on Saurfang's side but Blizzard oblige me because of plot.
Not a repeat of MoP, hm?
It's official, security in Stormwind and Elwynn Forest is complete and utter horse*!@#. It's becoming pretty damn embarrassing. I can understand that Saurfang might have had a helping hand to escape, by none other than Anduin perhaps, since Varok seems to have a plan now. But for horde agents to once again infiltrate a convenient sewer? Sod off.
I'm interested to see where this goes, but extremely worried they're painting Saurfang as if he's in the right in all that's happened. His blow to Malf may have been dishonorable to some outlandish sense of orcish honor, but we are at war, damnit. It's absolutely clear he was right to strike an enemy combatant about to defeat his Warchief. In a battlefield there is no such thing as a duel, only combatants of different sides aiming to defeat each other for the benefit of their faction. Saurfang should have obeyed Sylvanas and finished the job, but he rather chose to spare Malf and therefore judge countless Horde lives to die for it. (Also it was what pushed Sylvanas to burn Teldrassil, but that's something Saurfang couldn't have foreseen, so I can't fault him too much over it)Sylvanas is definitely bad for Horde's honor, but survival is more important when we are at war. Saurfang doesn't see that, which is why I'd loathe to be forced to follow his philosophy. On that point, we have carried out Sylvanas's orders this far. Some may have hated it, some may have liked it, but to force us to switch to Saurfang's side would be silly now. Like, our opinion on this war doesn't even matter, we're just jumping around, doing whatever the game declares our character, the righteous CHAMPION, feels just, only they're flipflopping on that constantly as the narrative goes. No choice of our own. It's not like I'd want to fight against Saurfang and Zappy Boi, but this far I've been following all kinds of questionable orders from Sylvanas, yet suddenly I turn against her and kill her agents to save what I consider a harmful, misguided fool?Blizzard needs to pull an amazing feat in a future patch to make this work.
Oh, so I guess we are now following an old honorless orc? I don't see how trying to commit suicide before a battle that invovles YOUR people (there were orcs fighting) is honorable in any way. Then, abandoning them again mid-fighting is honorable. The only thing he represent is a too old soldier who clearly cares more about dying than helping his people. I would hate to see him in charge of any kind of army.If anyone needs any reasoning behind the aggression of the forsaken against the Alliance, should just hear Nathanos's dialoge with Garona in Dazar'alor. The Alliance wanted to eradicate them even though they broke off of the Lich King possession. Lordaeron used be part of the Alliance until Arthas turned its people into his servents. Imagine being a prisoner of war, mind-controlled to turn on your own people, and when you finally break free, your people are hunting you down. You might not agree with the forsaken's aggression, but it is understandable.
I really kind of wish I could side with Sylvanas in this. I'm really tired of this prattle about 'honor' from Saurfang, honestly. I prefer the Horde under Sylvanas, narratively.
