Will they ever finish updating the dungeon journal? I mean, there's still the classic content (pre Cata, I think) that has missing info.
Still 35 Valor for rare Callings, but 50 Valor for epic ones.
This Valor system is not looking good already, so you're saying even for a basic item u can only upgrade it 3 times a week? and for a bigger slot like a weapon, we won't even be able to upgrade it at all in a week? wtf did they even add this system for honestly at this point where you won't be anywhere near geared by 9.1 anyways due to time gating? The PvP Conquest Honor system isn't anywhere near like this AND is alt friendly which they said was one of their primary goals for this expack, Valor so far does not seem alt friendly at all or even main friendly honestly.
I don't see any reason to not enable 226 ilvl to people when they complete all dungeons +15.Usually I don't complain about elitism in this game, however I don't see how this is not the case.It is HARD to get all +15 in time, specially doing so with pugs. People should be REWARDED for that achievement alone. Blocking 223 and 226 gear behind yet another wall to get gear. You're ALREADY rewarded with 226 ilvl loot on the weekly chest, why wouldn't you be also rewarded with the same ilvl doing the exactly same content?
I think Blizzard is really on edge with WoW.The server costs, salaires of managers, development costs (especially compared to mobile games), etc-etc. are getting bigger than ever, they need to tone down the cost of WoW. It's a really careful process on how to transition a few million players into paying customers who are dying to pay for collectibles like mounts and transmogs. They don't need more players who DO play the game, that costs a lot. Imagine 5-20 players constantly bombarding their precious networks with data, their poor servers are getting overloaded, which lead to high energy costs.They need players who pay the sub fee, maybe a race/server change, but doesn't use their resources. Discouraging "multiplayer" content (5-20 mans) fixes this: solo players are not using much resources, they don't have loot debates, they don't test new buggy content (raids), they are just.. playing the game and playing the sub.This is a good example of it, these numbers are discouraging anyone who wants to upgrade their gear via M+. This is just... you know, there are a lot of games where I truly immerse and want to play more, but wow is the opposite: the more I play the less I want to, but the memories of what it was / what it could be is just disheartening.
lift the so called "technical issues" making it where we cant corrupt oh snap I meant upgrade items prior to this patch and Blizz does okay with this really old recycled system that should have never left the game. But making people go get the gear they already have again is nonsensical and truly shows how much the developers don't care about the quality of their product and the player base.
Still not enough for me to resub. (Yes, one day I'll stop checking to see if they fix it).
Wait... I have to do Callings to get Valor? I have been ignoring them all xpac don't do this please... WQ's are the worst.
Sorry, I'll have to skip this Valor !@#$. Not worth my time. Weeks to upgrade just one piece. No thanks. If I want insane grind, I would play some chinese/korean f2p mmo, not Wow.
Awful system with ranks being far too expensive. Several weeks just to upgrade a few items levels on a single item (with a base item you need to farm may I add, unlike PvPers!) is NOT a rewarding experience.
the biggest issue is from what I've seen is from season 1, if and i mean if it is account based meaning we only need the achieve on 1 character then it should be ok for alts. If it is only on the character that we have gotten the achieve on then it will be irrelevant as by the time we have done the 10+ or even the 15+ we will have 220-226 already, whilst it would be nice to upgrade all items to 226 i can see that they really don't want mythic + to be on the same page as mythic raids and pvp, which is sad as some only have time to maybe do 1-2 mythic + a week with work and all. I wish they would allow us to purchase items instead with valor earned as with all the item dupes from the great vault, it would make the system better.
just give us 226 loot already for a 20+ keymythic+ is an important content on the game just as raid and arena nowadays
Its really easy, really really easy, so easy for them to fix this. Allow you to upgrade to 226 with finishing everything in time at +18 and then add in an achievement for doing one or all of them at +20 for a last boss level weapon like PvP has super weapons too. You are already weekly capped on valor (I think?) so its not like you can farm these out infinitely and you still need to actually find the base item. Its not like they even have to come up with any more systems, they are already implementing the +15 achieve just add a +18 achieve etc.
I really dont care how hard it is or long to get valor, but we should be able to upgrade to 226..... Imagine coming up with a fix to a flawed system and the fix is also purposefully flawed...
