Warwick Davis, not Warrick (though it is pronounced like "Warrick").
neat
Who's up to spending hours testing if it will actually turn someone to stone? I'm sure it will happen at least once!
well that's interesting.
I'll die on this hill: The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is one of a few prequels worthy of the original, recapturing the aesthetic and mystery of the original while introducing a new generation to the practical effects, set design, and worldbuilding that made the original so great. It's fine if you don't like it, but it's going to take a lot to convince me to stop liking it.Also, Willow II deserves a chance to thrive or die on its own merits. Also also, this stone is cool even if it doesn't end up doing anything on my gnome mage.
When I saw this on the vendor I recognized it immediately as a 'Willow' reference and was so excited I announced it to General Chat. As for a sequel to 'Willow'... Hollywood please, for the love of God and all that's holy, STOP MAKING SEQUELS 20-30 YEARS LATER! It's painful.
Mmm...Sorsha...
There is nothing wrong with the Lore in the Age Of Resistance. (Quick condensed timeline)The Movie takes place in the Age of Power. Age Of Resistance takes place 1,000 trine after the crystal cracked and the Urskeks separated into The UrRu and the Skeksis, also known as the Age Of Division which happened during the second great conjunction. Age Of Resistance, or Resistance And War, has Mother Aughra leading the resistance and the battle in the end, know as the Second Battle of Stone-in-the-Wood leads to the Skeksis defeat which leads to the series end with the Garthim Wars about to take place which wipes out the entire Gelfling population other than,. of course, Jen and Kira which is when the movie takes place.I am a HUGE Dark Crystal fan and have read all the novels and the graphic novels.
Interesting
