Being the noob I was back then, Lv 18 without so much a gold in the bank. Running around looking for Boar Livers and being assulted by farm machices, I was requested for a DM. DM? Sounds like Dam Massacare but it only turned out to be some old mine. I was sad at first until the wipes (S) forced my anger. I took charge, the loney nooby 3 greened priest, sub tanking, healing, and making my wand worthly of 35s it cost. It was love at first fight. DM had taken me in and shreded my hp's, broke my armor, wore me out, and caused me to miss dinner. But I would later conitue come back to her for another 217 times. Many chars, many class, most races, still didn't matter once I was lv 16 I was off to westfall. So my most epic loot drop was right-clickin DM and /needing 100 on fun memories.

I'd probably say my most epic loot was on my level 70 priest. I was running ZA one day with my guild, towards the end of BC. We were a pretty spread out guild, 1/2 casual, 1/2 hardcore. This was a casual raid, nobody really expected to get more than one chest, maybe two. So we were raiding along, and to our surprise, we actually got the two chests! We were overjoyed, and we continued along. However, on one pull that was a little too large right before the Dragonhawk boss, (A.K.A we double pulled), we wiped! Oh it was a disaster, we knew we weren't gonna get that third chest. People complained, but eventually we got on to the boss. So there we were, facing Jan'alai, the big fire breathing baddy himself, with our minutes slowly trickling by. The fight started off well, we were doing OK, his fire could not burn us that day! But, as the fight progressed, trouble was brewing. A firebomb killed someone, a Fire Breath nailed another, and god knows what happened to them but we lost another 2. So we were halfway through the fight, with 6 people fighting him. Through good planning and luck, all the eggs were hatched so at 35%, no one was owned by annoying little hatchlings. But, our time was dangerously low, and the healers' mana pools running dry. Another fell, 5 left. Then, we broke the 100k limit! We saw his health fly down, but we had precious little time. At 60k, we had less than a minute left, we knew that, (though not exactly, could've been like 56 sec), but we were worried! Oh was it intense. I threw out everything, cooldowns, my special new Talent Skills, all of it! Then, we lost a healer........I knew that the tank was going down. But, by some Supreme Luck, it was a shaman healer. With a quick self-rez, we were back in business, with 10k left, we knew he was down, just when? we had at most 15 secs left. Tick, tick, tick. Then, right as that timer disappeared, HE FELL. It was so close we didnt even know if we won or not. Then, someone went over to the chest while everyone was getting rezed, just wondering if we did. Imagine the enourmous wave of relief we all felt, when suddenly that beautiful little loot rolling screen appeared, with Signet of the Quiet Forest on it. While to most it may have been a standard ZA fight, for us that was conquering all odds. For a casual guild to have come in, gotten three chests, and ESPECIALLY after that fight, 5 manning that beastly dragonhawk and still getting it, in DOUBLE OVERTIME, with SECONDS TO SPAIR. It was definitely the most epic fight I have ever been in, and the most Epic loot I have ever gotten. Not because of the stats, or where it dropped but because of the fight itself, and the miracle that our little casual 10 men pulled off that day. BTW, I was happy as a shadow priest, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=33498 is a caster ring with an epic name....Quiet Force, shadow is pretty quite isnt it... XD
“What was the most epic loot drop you've ever gotten?”WoW! This takes me all the way back to the very old days of World of Warcraft when I was just a level 60 male troll rogue. My most epic loot ever layed inside the most treacherous dungeon of all, Blackwing Lair! My 39 good friends and I battled our way through the evil dragon infested dungeon till we came upon Chromaggus the two headed beast after a few minutes of hard work we managed to slay Chromaggus and what did he drop? 2x Bloodfang Spaulders. It wasn’t my turn to get the shoulders but guess what? There were only 2 rogues in the whole raid! so our raid leader tossed me and my buddy the shoulders, I reached down into my backpack and tossed them right on the cool thing about the shoulders are the design and the black smoke rising up from it.I did so many battlegrounds that day just to show off the shoulders it was insane, back then Tier2 was like "OMG WoW DUDE!"So there you have it my most epic loot drop ever was a pair of Bloodfang Spaulders :)
My most epic loot was definitely Atiesh. After months and months of farming the splinters, farming the rep and doing the chain, I finally got my Atiesh (as well as my 9/9 T3). Definitely my most epic piece of loot.
After 3 months, two drops (both to other people in my guild), the Lightning Capacitator (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=28785) just didn't seem to want to drop for me. WotLK came around, and I still, sadly, lacked my beautiful trinket. A few days ago, I went with a few random people late at night into Kara out of sheer boredom. And whaddya know? The trinket, at last, drops. Was smiling all night, with a few walls of extatic text in gchat from time to time.It was a good night.
My first epic weapon was the Gut Ripper which was on my rogue.I bought it from the AH for 160g that I saved up for it. After I got it I saved up some more gold and got Life Stealing on it. I still have that item on my rogue in the bank it was well worth the gold especially all the pwning I did in BGs at lvl 49.
My most epic drop had to be earning the full Field Marshal's Vestments. I was a rogue and so I was into PVP, but it took a ton of BG runs/ World PVP to get enough honor. I know it wasn't even the best armor at the time, but I didn't have the time to raid and it felt awesome to have something that seperated me from the others on the server.
My most epic drop would have to be my first epics. 3000 ironjaw basilisks later and I became the proud owner of a pair of gut rippers. Looking back at the drop rate, it should have taken a lot longer than that, but you don't see me complaining...
