Well, my most epic loot has got to be my origional glad shoulders, they are by the far the coolest looking in my opinion, and was my first real epic piece of gear since I was a late starter to WoW.
My most epic loot was actually an epic failure, after 57 UD strat runs my hunter never saw her T0 pants drop.
I remeber in the good old days, TBC was out and i started a new char. a rogue as i recall it:DAt that time i had a level 41 priest as the char. with the highest level, so real Epic drops with the purple front wasn't something that i had ever seen in the game before. One day as level 39 i was doing a quest in STV on my rogue. The quest giver wanted me to kill some Jungle Stalkers and i did:)It began at my second Jungle Stalker, when i looted the mob i couldn't belive my own eyes:Oit was level 41 Jungle Stalker and it dropped Staff of Jordan, and i have never been so high before:) I was flying. My world just got a bit brighter, you know:)In my rush i continued my quest and just 2 Jungle Stalker after the Staff of Jordan Stalker it happened again.Level 40, Jungle Stalker dropped The Green Tower. In that moment my world (of warcraft) stopped.I'll never forget that moment for the rest of my WoW life, and it will definitely be my most Epic loot drop:)
I was home recovering from surgery for a week which gave me plenty of time to work on collecting some of the rarest pets in the game. After hours upon hours of grinding I managed to obtain the Crimsom, Azure, and Dark Dragon whelplings. Still need to find time for that elusive emerald pet.
Finally getting my horse mount (even IF it's only a 30% one) as a draenei hunter. Why a horse? Well, how many draenei do you see on a horse? It fits with the hunter image, too. I wanted something different when I first started campaigning for SW rep because I didn't like the eleks. They've since grown on me (mainly because if I wanted a mount at all, that's what I got stuck with), but I still wanted a horse. So now I have a horse. Hooray! =P
The most epic loot drop was a Dark Whelpling that dropped for my Fiancé while she was working on leveling up her Skinning on her Death Knight. She sent it to me in the mail as a surprise to help me get the 50 Pets Achievement. :D
Meh one cool epix was dal rend tribal guardian. It was my first lvl 60 item :) i were in ubrs (first time, my first lvl 60 dungeon) and i had no idea what i would get from there. At rend this swords was dropped and i paniced. I wanted it but i had no idea what to do (leader was using master loot) there was 3rolls for this sword already but i didnt know how to roll. (:P newbie power :P) My brother came home when leader was counting (my brother also plays wow and he were a bit more skilled than i ^^) i asked him to help fast! and he rolled 98 when leader said 0, But i did get it :) from that moment i started to understand more about: gear and dungeons in wow, some weeks later i did get that main hand wep from rend ^^. I still remember it as my first lvl 60 item.
I'd have to say the most Epic drop for me... is a toss-up between Stormrage Legguards and the Will of Arlokk. After months and months of progressing through MC, picking up what pieces of Cenarion were actually upgrades vs ZG gear, and countless attempts at killing Rag, we -finally- managed to snuff out his flame, with 39 people no less... The anticipation as we rezzed up the 1/3 of the raid that died was killing us, especially with it being our first kill. With a very noticable "Oh my.." from our guild master, our rewards flashed in Raid Warning, and voila, our first sets of Tier 2 pants: Wrath and Stormrage. I almost went through the roof, because I knew those pants were mine since I'd been saving DKP for them. 3 months later, I finally got the Will of Arlokk, after just about every other druid and priest in guild had it, and I'd been working every other time it dropped... Now that I think about it, I'd really have to say the pants win out, that night was truly epic.
Another epic Loot I had was when I finally got my Paladin to level 48 and spent the entirety of the night looking for a group for Zul'Farrak to get a collection of quests done. You know, the daily grind.Anyway, it is my first day on my new server, Sisters of Elune. At about 2 AM this Mage says "You've been in the Queue for hours. Do you want a run through?" So I take it and they get on their Death Knight, obliterate stuff. Much to my surprise I end up leaving with Sul'Thraze the Lasher after both of the swords dropped in one run. I was -very- happy. And then again in Sunken Temple the Dragon's Call dropped and I won that with an off-set roll. What luck huh? I sure am loving this new server. Now, I can't wait to run Stratholme. >:3
I'm minding my own business on my 38 priest in the AH when i hear " huge raid on sw they're almost to the keep". I like to do battlegrounds alot and decided to help out and do some pvp. To my dissatisfaction i only caught a glimpse of the last horde dying as i approached the entrance to the keep. I was alittle worked up as i imagined getting to knock off a couple horde, I got a ret pally with 2700 AP. So i asked lfm UC raid and got 40 level 70+ in about a half and hour at this point charging to the sewers of the Under City. The most epic loot ive gotten so far is most definitly the black war bear mount, being as beastly as it looks. Also because as the story goes, the horde get to the entrance of my SW keep and kinda taper off. Soon after, the raid group I establish goes through every horde city killing every horde leader with under 5 deaths. Sounds pretty epic to me i guess.
The most epic loot(time) i ever had was back when me and 20 of my schoolmates ran MC in our guild. Everyone got loot and sometimes we would LAN at my house, all 20 of us, it was a really great time.
My most epic loot was https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=2100#. Awesome at 45 for Hunters. =)
