I must answer. I followed it across many lands and seas until I reached an island in Stormheim. There was a tomb for the kings there. For months I tried to enter the shrine, but I was not a follower of Tyr's path and was denied. Inside the tomb lies the Shrine of the Truthguard. Overcome any defenses and find the shrine.

Enter the shrine and find the shield.

Stage 5 – Yrgrim's Challenge
Yrgrim, wielder of the Truthguard has challenged you to a trial by combat. Complete the trial to earn his respect.

The trial is over. Take up the Truthguard.

After the fall of Tyr, Yrgrim the Truthseeker aided his brethren in Tirisfal, ensuring their survival in the new world.

Knowing that others of his kind had fled the north, he went in search of them, hoping to find someone worthy to pass on his armaments.

Eventually he found Stormheim and strong descendants of his race. Here was a group where one might be found worthy.On an island of stone Yrgrim built an arena. He proclaimed to his brethren that he sought a successor strong in will and body, and pure in heart. They would have to pass his trials in order to claim his weapons.

Many berserkers and dragonriders answered Yrgrim's challenge, but all met with failure and death. Yrgrim answers challenges for years until the challengers stopped coming.

Here lies Yrgrim, resolute and patient. Never bowing to the curse of the great enemy, he remains as strong as the vrykul of old.

He and his challenge await.I bid you greetings Opener of Doors, you are the first.
I am the champion of Tyr, and we will see if you are worthy to bear his shield.
I have waited a long time for someone like you. I sense you are the blood and have the heart. Face me in battle and we will test your strength.

Blizzard

We're getting close to deploying some changes to pet battles that we'll test in the Legion Alpha. We wanted to outline some of them here for you, so that you have a thread in which you can talk about this with us. As always, these are changes we're testing, subject to further change, not final, etc.

Undead racial

During its invulnerability round, the active Undead pet will now do -25% damage.
Now has a 1-round cooldown.

Dev note: The ability to chain stun opponents (until resilience kicks in) simply feels bad. Rather than a blanket change to resilience, we're trying a surgical change to one of the more aggravating aspects.

Thunderbolt, Avalanche, Grave Destruction, Carpnado, Arcane Storm, and Psionic Storm

Base Damage reduced by approximately 15%

Thunderbolt

Will now have a 5-Round cooldown, to match the other abilities with similar damage and effect.

Cleave

Added 1-round cooldown

Dev note: AoE abilities are very powerful in the current battle pet metagame, especially “meteor”-type abilities, which are quite effective against both groups of enemies and single targets. This should bring them closer to their intended power level.

Graves

Clobber and BONESTORM slots swapped

Dev note: Graves has a bit too easy of a time damaging the entire enemy team. Though we see other setups with Graves, it's been too easy to AoE, and a bit too powerful among AoE pets. We are wary of opening up additional new Graves combos with this change, and we'll be testing this closely and reading all of your feedback.

Graves' base stats changed: At level 25, Graves' Speed will now be 244 (was 211), Power will now be 297 (was 314), and Health will now be 1587 (was 1668).

Dev note: Graves' base stats, along with the Undead racial (which favors slow pets), made him an unfortunate opponent to play against. Combined with high AoE and Consume Corpse, he had very few downsides. This change should help bring his output in-line with other, similar pets.

Overall, this constitutes a triple nerf to Graves. However, depending on your ability choices, you may consider the Clobber/BONESTORM slot swap an improvement. Please feel free to leave your feedback in this thread, and we'll be here reading (and responding where necessary).

OUR LIVES ARE WORTH LIVING!Comment by Random0056A lot of changes coming to Graves (I saw the Bue post the other day). One thing that stands out is Clobber/Bonestorm. This can already be played, but with the buff to Graves speed, it's also a buff to Clobber as well. I don't see this as a huge threat right now, but I'm curious to see how he does with a Crowd Control/Trap team. What's on my radar though is Consume Corpse/Bonestorm, and how this will impact Frostwolf Ghostpup and Ghastly Kid/Unborn Val'kyr.

Regardless of what's to come for Graves, I'll still play him. He's one of my favorite pets. However, he was the sharp point of a much greater issue. AoE is easily played, which stopped a lot of well crafted teams from succeeding. Even with nerfing the AoE meta, there will always be a top tier team or composition. With AoE being nerfed, it may allow for older teams to come out of hiding or for new faces to appear. I'm excited.
