As exciting as this is, I wouldn't get too hyped. It's encrypted, meaning we will never see what the content is until it's decrypted (though I would be curious what would happen if Wowhead hired someone to decrypt their encryption, as that is possible, I wonder if they would get sued). Then, only those who are invited to the alpha are allowed to play - which is probably friends and family; any content creators would probably have an NDA.Though I would love to be wrong and hope we hear news soon.
I highly doubt we are going to get more race/class combos. Most likely I see all the races getting extensive customization options like they mentioned at Blizzcon. Possibly adding some of the Allied Races customization like hairstyle and skin tones to the base ones as well.
Bring back Metamorphosis to warlocks!
Very nice.
How long is it usually between the first alpha and release? I'm worried they'll rush this just like BFA 🥵
I just want my killshot back, give me a real execute ability.
Thanks much Couchpotato2013. You've put my mind at ease.Anyways, I'm an Alliance main but my hopes for customization is that Blood Elves get Dark Ranger skins and Troll DKs get that awesome mummy skin. Male tauren need better beards too!I kind of hope Night Elves get that undead skin because I want to use it with my Emerald Nightmare transmog! I'm not totally happy with how Disneyfied the new Worgen look so I hope they get angrier faces too. I really want bigger teeth and a bigger beard on my worgo.
Please, anyone who gets into Alpha and Beta, give a ton of feed back to blizzard on stuff. Both good and not just the bad. We don't want history to repeat it's self.
If this does indeed come out this year it will be rushed as all hell.
Kaleestraza we can only hope that they do put more customization in. I don’t really care for how my characters look because I never have then zoomed into look at. You are right though the worgen change just looks off (the run animation looks awful), and male tauren helmets look like they took inspiration from the stacking/cascading error message prompts from Windows 95 to XP (at times in 7). Stretched out so far you can count the pixels.
Now that BFA is over may get some more info on SL
Suprising, I think its most realistically coming out in early/mid 2021. Hopefully this means they will let veteran testers give more feedback and who knows maybe they will actually do something about the feedback this time.
