I really like the simplicity of the Bastion weapons it gives a very elegant/graceful air to them
I'd love to see sheathing options, and different ways in which our characters hold our weapons. Maybe a simple button in the appearance / character screen that offers a choice of different places to sheath and/or brandish your weapon. Such as sheathed at your sides or on your back or, what I'm a supporter (and beggar) of blizzard to consider is allowing us some options of different ways to hold our weapons, such as holding a staff or polearm out in front of you, with the bottom tip touching the ground, like a roaming wizard or a wandering monk with their companion walking stick or a stalwart guard or a mighty forest lord wandering through a thick green woods. Different poses for holding weapons. Different places to sheath them. I'm not sure how realistic / selfish that is to ask for, but the animations do at least seem there - there are birds perched on hunter's arms, there are npcs crouching behind and gripping their straight polearm, there are those walking with and holding faction banners/flags, and there are animations for using artifact weapon during certain spells such as raising them into the air. I am probably just being selfish but I want my druid and monk to be able to wander the world as peaceful travelers, with their trusty walking stick that can at a moments notice be whipped into weapon! Thanks!Solá
Imagine if the Harp offhand was actually a ranged weapon, with bow animations (to look as if strumming) that fired a little musical bolt.
I like the Ardenweald bow.
Where are the shields? No shields in Shadowlands? :D
weapons are super great! really love that bastion purple and black sword and blue and black one. Im a hunter though. Love the bow , guns look cool but its a lot of the same gun with different colors. And the crossbow looks cool. Wonder if we will get more cool and glowy designs like everyone else though.
I really appreciate that one of the Bastion tints is so fitting for draenei!
Fantastic looking weapons
I hope the vials, lanterns, harps, bells and books are sheath-able at our side and visible at all times on our characters' sides / waist. Not only when we pull them out. My favorite transmogs are the off hands because they enrich so much your character and their story. Yeah they are weapons but they're really the only way for our characters to hold and use special sentimental items as we do weapons, but with the added and awesome benefit that they provide flavor, history and preference as well. There's something special about toting a tome on your character like a wandering wizard or dark sorcerer, there's something fulfilling about a beloved vial attached to your belt strap, there's an enchantment having a glowing lantern at your side, and there's of course lots of love the player can have with their character carrying their cherished yet useful side items such as fans, tomes, goblets and other special objects accompanying us. Many offhands are not viewable on our characters and it makes me sad and a little frustrated because I love the leather pouches, potion bottles, thick books and many of the immersive items that disappear when sheathed. With all the customization and cosmetics we're getting, I am hopeful and would love to believe that all offhands, new and old, will become visible while sheathed. It seems like this would be an important and overdue consideration that the game should allow, and players can only benefit from, especially with the attention and dedication towards players choosing how they want to play their toon. There are many offhands that hold special significance and through player imagination become powerful objects of their class and fantasy. I for one love the pouches and sacks and I'd love my tauren Druid to carry the small leather or cloth pouch which I imagine to be a sack of seeds and/or healing soil / medicine at his belt side, but it disappears when sheathed. I'm glad the items from pandaria such as the fan are visable when sheathed, but there are so many bottles, vials, books, lanterns, etc that just go away - but they shouldn't because we who prefer companion items of power and support, should have our cherished objects seen on our characters. I would love if a warlock or rogue or alchemist could actually have the bottles and vials that I transmog, seen on his waist. The few tomes that are visible are in a step in the right direction and very exciting and appreciated, but they are a small selection of smallish books. A mage might like some of the other, larger tomes out there to tote around, or even paladin tugging along a thicker book, or even priest's object of adoration containing incantations, or even a deep thicket druid might roam the woods with his his spellbook of nature, pouring over ancient runes and calling forth the wild power from it's pages. The new shadowlands offhands are great and exciting, I hope they don't disappear from our characters as well.Perhaps going forward they should try to to enable all offhands to be visible on our characters, so that we players who prefer the companion items and our beloved objects of power and support, can adventure with our handy, personal, and valuable items at our sides the way those who carry weapons do. Some of our cherished relics, idols and story and character enriching items that we discover and collect throughout our journeys and over the course of wow's story, they hold special significance us players and our characters. They find a home at our hip and accompany us along our adventures and are imbued with or contain great wisdom and powers. Most of the time I choose characters or specs who can use offhands or switch from stronger weapon to a slightly less strong weapon simply because I love traveling with my companion pieces and items that support my character and fulfill my class's or character's fantasy. But I really want them all, new and old, to be visible on our toons and not disappear when sheathed. If someone has alpha and can leave that feedback to allow for offhands to be visible on our toons, at the waist, belt, side, or even strapped to our back as that might be cool and fitting traveling with a mystical harp on one's back, wherever it looks fitting and good, as long as they're visible, I'd me most appreciative!
Oribos weapons look super similar to dweomer weapons from Elder Scrolls series
Yet, still no quivers.
Anyone else seeing a lot of Legion artifacts on this list?- Not crying "reskin" .. Just genuienily wondering if there's something there, or just a coincidence?
Wow the Revendreath style is so awesome and smooth
Firearm_2H_Maldraxxus_D_01 has me ready to roll a Death Guard hunter.
These are definitely making me feel Bastion. The swords in particular look great.
