Quick question. Can you earn renown and renown rewards on level 50-59 alts? Or do they have to be level 60?
The only quests you do not get rewards from are all the Campaign quests (the ones with the brown shields behind the gold ! icon).Any other quest is a side-quest, and will be openly available while you do Threads of Fate. Not likely much to miss, as there is basically guaranteed overlap of the greens that drop, and side quest rewards.I am sure someone will write a guide in the future. But it is only the leveling set of mogs you'd lose (the Oribos-themed appearances), and even then, not likely, as the side-quests provide plenty of gear as well.

Doesnt work for me. The word I type can't get accepted to start the quest. Done everything needed on my main. Just the accept button of Threads of Fate is grey and inactive. Anyone else?
As far as BFA was concerned, the questing transmog set was also used in the green BoEs and WQ rewards for the entire expansion. It also seems to be the case in Shadowlands. For example, The Final Countdown rewards shoulders for each armour type, and these all have "Same model as" generic green BoE listed on their pages.
Having tried threads of fate - it does not seem to be quicker or better than questing.Until the levelling gurus can optimise the route, I recommend sticking to questing and go to threads of fate once you're almost 60 already. In the future, this may change - if for example the world quests you're doing can offer renown while levelling, it would obviously be better to get your catchup done while levelling. But for the first week, where you can only earn renown at max level, I would say threads of fate is only worth doing if you really want to level via dungeon spam.
Had the option after completing the Maw intro, no longer have it at lvl60. Needless to say I'm irritated af, since I now have about 5 hours of campaign left that I've already done.
Why can't we have this at the beginning? Why can't I just play it like an actual friggen adventure game?
Good idea to switch to threads of fate when you're near the end of level 59 on campaign so you aren't forced to finish the full story once you hit 60.
If i leveled one character to 60, but didn't finish the Rev Campaign and didn't unlock covenants, but then level another character to 60 and did unlock covenants, do I need to finish the final campaigns on the first character or I should be able to choose a covenant for it now that its 60?
I have 2 characters, a warrior and a hunter.I played the warrior with a friend doing the story and im currently up to the start of Revendreth, but between playing the warrior with a friend i played on the hunter. The hunter has just finished the storyline and i have picked a covenant & unlocked world quests. The warrior is level 60 and has unlocked world quests for him via the hunter but i can not find a quest anywhere for him to pick a covenant, am i forced to sit through the rest of this zones story before i can pick a covenant on my warrior?Cheers in advance.
