The set bonuses all suck. Rested? And MORE rested? Regeneration that is utterly pointless (most self heals will fill in for whatever natural regen does not, so I don't believe this is beneficial for anyone), and a stat buff and minor AoE (why even bother, unless you have 100% uptime, just having better gear in all those slots will always be better.)If it goes live this way, they have to give refunds. This isn't ANYTHING like what people paid for. It's just a trash set that won't even be particularly good in any of the content.
I'm at a loss. I'll restructure the sentence for you guys I guess?Interesting format. I would like to see more of it as long as the person being replied to does not take offense to the constructive criticism (in this case, that person is DesMephisto).Does that help? Jesus. I was trying to praise this type of post so we get more of it.
Those potential bonuses are really...bad looking. Rested experience is hardly a factor when quests are the bulk of EXP gains.OOC regen is a non-factor when leveling unless they are planning to nerf/remove self healing and the already fast regen speeds we have baseline. The 4pc bonus is likely to be a complete waste and if you level with Warmode ON it will probably get you killed at any neutral quest hub if you happen to level while turning in a quest.
People demanding refunds bothers me. You bought the heirlooms and made use of them while they worked. You got value from it. Unless you just bought an heirloom, never used it (for some reason) then I can somewhat understand.
60% less rested exp consumed is NOT 60% longer rested exp, it's 150% more (If you have 100 rested exp and get these 100, yet consume only 40, it means you need to get 250 exp to actually consume 100 rested exp)Being max rested means that the bonus is not "one level" unlike what he says, but actually 2,25 levels. It's not great, but still decent if you "forget" an alt lvl 40-45.
I think something like you and your party get 5% increased run speed and it stacks to 25 with everyone having heirlooms would be fun. Or even reduced chance to be dazed or faster quest item gathering. There’s lots they can do that wouldn’t have the legendary loss feeling.
Realistically, the rested XP changes are pretty much neutral for casual alt play. I know for myself and a fair number of other people who just do alt stuff randomly on the side, I rarely play without rested XP.Obviously this is not great for speed leveling or people interested in just busting it out as quickly as possible... but for casual alt leveling it's effectively about the same thing.Honestly, if I'm in a rush to level an alt I'll just buy a boost with gold via tokens. Probably a better use of my time. Otherwise, I mostly just play alts while I have rested XP and then log out when I run out... which was always really the point of the rested XP system to begin with.Only thing missing here is probably some sort of Run Speed or Mount Speed bonus.
