Agreed. I am not liking the fact that you are forced to side with Saurfang. I've never been team Saurfang and that is not changing anytime soon. Could it be that the wailing of Saurfang's sympathizers reached Blizz and they wanted to appease them? probably not, but maybe. Still, bad move. Should be able to choose imo.
Remember, our characters dont really have much of a choice within this game. We are only here to enjoy the ride that is the story the narrator gives us while being able to interact with it, we cant really alter it. It is very appreciated though when we are given some option, so if they actually allow the player to side with the Dark Rangers then lose and have Saurfang actually wipe everyone out and spare us after making us "understand".... now that would be something.
At this rate, I might just need to cancel my sub for the first time in 12 years. I'm sick of Blizzard writing Saurfang as a traitor then forcing the actual loyal members of the Horde to side with him.
Not sure what else to expect, Horde always gets the same story of the Warchief Hot-Potato.I really feel bad for them now.
There's a difference between Honor and Loyalty. I pray you never have to choose. . .
People whine about Sylvanas on Prepatch will Teldrassil events and want to be on Saurfang side...People whine about Saurfang now and want to be on Sylvanas side....Screw you all, can't you just appreciate any plot :/ ?It's like watching Star Wars and whine because "I don't want to be in the good side". That's a story, if you don't like it, just move on.Personnaly, i really enjoy Saurfang character, despite all i read, and i really look forward to see what will be his next move to dismantle the forsaken and the Banshee Queen who both have nothing to do in Horde since the very start :) !
Im actually pretty excited for that toy. It’s nice and simple. Hopefully the hair clipping through won’t be too bad :)
Bit random, but one thing I've noticed with Sylvanas is that her statue and cinematics portray her with mascara running like she had been crying and never removed it (obviously referencing her death). Her actual model, on the other hand, shows her with effectively Night Elf tattoos rather than makeup. So ... what if the Sylvanas that's been leading the Horde is a decoy and the real Sylvanas with the running mascara is captive somewhere? I still find it odd that Sylvanas would have taken the time to rescue Vol'jin at the Broken Shore. That shows a strange act of kindness for her. But in the time since, she's steadily turned more into Arthas. She's been acting rather strangely.Blizzard has said they don't intend to repeat Garrosh, but repeating Arthas isn't any better. So what if they pull a decoy and we find the real Sylvanas has been captive for a while so we have to go rescue her? We then get a Sylvanas vs Sylvanas fight. We still don't really know what Sylvanas's deal with Helya was. Maybe that relates to it.But hey, this is Blizzard. It's pretty obvious the route they're going is that Sylvanas got corrupted by the old gods during her desperation to try to save her people. Her vision then got corrupted slowly morphing her into what she one hated (Arthas). So only way I see Sylvanas getting out of this alive is if killing the old god corrupting her causes her to come back to her senses. But that won't save her from what she's already done which means likely imprisonment rather than a slap on the wrist like Grommash. Or they find a way to redeem her. I honestly think Sylvanas will lose her body forcing her to become a banshee again and Calia will give herself to Sylvanas to become her new body. That then merges the dissenting Forsaken who side with Calia and Sylvanas's loyal followers while also giving Sylvanas a true claim to Lordaeron. Calia-Sylvanas could become the opposite of Ner'zhul-Arthas/Bolvar. That then leads into a WotLK 2.0 which causes some kind of story line where Calia-Sylvanas has to forgive or redeem Arthas which somehow leads to the Scourge being greatly weakened. Since Taelia's obviously the Alliance tie-in to a WotLK 2.0, Calia and/or Sylvanas has to be that tie-in for Horde. Having one side focus on the current Lich King and trying to weaken the Scourge that way while the other side focuses on the previous one would make for fairly different stories on both sides and give better replayability. But is Blizzard that creative?
When will Varok learn that he still has Dranosh?
Oh wow. I can't believe Sylvanas 'Enemy Of The Living' Windrunner was a Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain this whole time. I am so very incredibly shocked by this turn of events in which Life = Good and Death = Evil.I hope they give her a neat-looking raid at least.
oh, great, the horde got another storyline. and alliance got nothing! No wonder so few players choose to play alliance!
