I am pretty sick of mission table, sick of major questlines or story events being gated behind it, such a lazy mechanic.
What would be cool is if actual NPCs would be at the points of conflict duking it out.
YAY Gilneas! <3 I'd be great if Moonglade and Hyjal were Alliance too ><
Delivering the faction war that was actually teased to be the focus of this expansion via tiny mission-table-texts? This is....awesome. Just awesome. Keep up the good work, Blizzard!Waiting for "Warcraft mobile", a Arena-Fighter game for your phone, where you command forced over the old continets...only seeing their heads. You know...chiby style, or whatever that it is called.
You know the real reason why Sylvanas has survived this long. Fanservice.
I'm really glad that Gilneas is, most possibly, being retaken :3
I suppose that there is some logic in the fact that, having defeated Sargeras and the Burning Legion the peoples of Azeroth should turn to destroying one another. Even so I find it sad that we cannot come together to focus on the fanatics among us like the Scarlet Crusade and the Apothecary Society, the Defias Brotherhood and similar outlaw factions withing Azeroth not to mention the viciousness of the Old Gods. We need respect for one another Horde and Alliance.
Ok, I've been working on maps detailing Horde and alliance territory for years now (You can find them at joeltopian.deviantart.com, and on Hadaril.net); and as such, I feel at least a bit qualified to post some real critisims of these maps, and your usage of the mission tables as sources. As such, it pains me to see blatent misinformation proliferated on one of Wow's largest fansites.First, I want to address using these mission tables as sources, because I see a REAL problem with their content. If you actually look at a lot of them, you'll notice that they detail events that include characters that have already been killed during the cataclysm questing storylines. The warlock in the Maestra's post mission, for example, has been dead for years at this point. This alone gives me serious doubts about the canoninty of these missions, or at least Blizzard's ability to remember their own lore. KalimdorThere are serious, serious flaws that are immediately obvious to anyone who has looked at the lore before here. I'll go based on zone.Darkshore: The Shatterspear clan was driven to extinction during catalcysm. Referencing them as an actual actor is anachronistic. The Horde's holdings in the region were retaken during the same questline.AshenvaleThe warlock described as leading the siege on Maestra's post was killed in cataclysm quests. Durotar The Kul'tiran forces in western Durotar were driven out in cataclysm; unless these are new reinforcements, this should be shown as Horde territory.Southern Barrens ALL alliance fortresses in the zone were destroyed by the Horde army during their march to Theramore in Tides of War; only Northwatch hold was rebuilt afterwards. Honor's stand remains ambiguous. As such, showing Fort Triumph as Alliance is flat out incorrect.Eastern KingdomsNot as many flaws here, actually. The only thing I see as incorrect is showing Southshore as Alliance Territory (It's pretty much unihabitable), and showing the Horde as owning the Alterac mountain ranges. It's strange that you also don't highlight the remainder of Hillsbrad as Horde, seeing as it is horde territory. Same goes for Silverpine - there aren't any real opposition forces outside the places you already marked as Alliance. Not doing so skews the perception of the map as being Alliance dominated. Go'Shek Farm in Arathi should be shown as Horde, and Daybrie's farmstead as Alliance. Hiri'watha Research station in the Hinterlands should be shown as Horde.
I'm not sure how the Horde is losing so badly when they're the ones manufacturing Azerite weapons.
How about that Horde Bias, eh? Alli^&*s grabbed a ton of land and held onto the rest.
