Currently, based on RIO, at 6+20s and everything else on 17+, I am rank 66k+. So I don't think it'll be THAT hard. Depending on how Blizzard determines the top .1%, if they take everyone that's done a single +2 on their character, it is currently needed around top 74k players (give or take a little)
title should be easy to get... just play alliance :)
I actually want top players to have their characters remembered with statue in oribos.
Basically top 2000 as it stands according to RaiderIO. Would be in the realm of a 2700 player atm.
wish there was something for earning achievements themselves ... like top for achievement score each season should get something too for ya know actually completing the game ... but instead we get garbage like this that rewards people for running garbage M+ which is the worst thing in the game ... thanks again blizzard for more trash and even less reason to play
I tihnk they completely miss the point with this. The casual playerbase who are the foundation of this game are leaving. Giving something special to the most elitist of the elitists is just plain stupid.
I hope blizzard actively polices people increasing the population pool to allow for more spots. You know have multiple guilds run throw away alts with bricked 2s just to make the io rating lower. Why? Because people were doing it in classic to increase bracket 1 spots for ranking. Just get 15 HKs per week on multiple characters (non-60s factor in the count) and EZ Clap.
Current cutoffs would be around 2680 for horde and 2635 for alliance on US servers. This will certainly go up as the season progresses. As someone who boosts people in keys up to +24 right now, this achievement can only be bought on horde if you're at least a somewhat decent player (able to do at least +20/21 on your own). No group is going to be able to 4 man dungeons and carry someone to top 0.1%.
Would be nice if they balanced m+ more with this change.Gonna suck when 90% of ppl that get this title play the same 3 classes/specs.
Cool title, &*!@ing awful implementation if this sticks. Why isn't this just a title rewarded at a certain rating? This isn't PVP content it's literally PVE, it should just be something you can work towards during the season. There's already a competitive league for M+ (and it's not exactly the most interesting thing to watch), so why are they implementing a reward as if this PVE system is a PVP one? Just slap a 2500 rating requirement on it and give something for people to work towards, otherwise there's no incentive for players not already pushing higher keys to come back.At this point Blizz should be doing everything in their power to get people back playing the game, not exclusively rewarding those still pushing keys.
