wheres the horde ?
Hearthstone lore and worldbuilding are really getting better and better through the years. Personally, I love when they use mostly WoW's own setting and manage to add original characters on top of it.
The new hearthstone experience in a nutshell:Priest have been given a 10 mana card that when played wins the game (card text says "Destroy enemy hero")No seriously, that card was made and it's in ranked play.Meanwhile there is a new miracle rogue OTK deck.In short, if you are not playing the quest card you are going to lose, although I did manage to get a 7 game streak with an off-meta deck.
Shame the actual gameplay feels so bad. Meta feels dominated by a bunch of solitaire decks that barely interact with each other.I miss Naxx.
no.WoW "was" all about the war between A and H.quests highlighted it, but end game when all questing was done...the AvsH was what kept ppl.Ppl didnt spend days in AV for quests. We did it for the combat.
Very good read. The last few expansions - and the addition of the Book of Heroes - have really made me want to invest more time into Hearthstone. The merc characters are cool and their arcs and the overall narrative are genuinely interesting.
Hearthstone is a great game, and both Forged in the Barrens and United in Stormwind are solid additions. Personally I like the lines they gave the Lady Prestor hero, and whoever voiced them did a fine job.
If only this game wasn't so pay to win I might have given it a try. Maybe not so much pay to win but definitely pay to have fun which is probably even worse. Even if you drop 50 euros every expansion you won't have all the cards from it and getting cards from old expansions is a whole another story. But I guess they are doing fine since they are not changing their monetization model
