Love the variety of wardrobe. Strange that they all have the exact same face, though.
I hope they round those faces more for females. because they really look like the men in drag. If that's what you're going for... okay I guess.
All these people moaning about how ugly the females are. Yes, they're based on the Nosferatu style of vampire. Nosferatu is ugly as hell. That's the point. Go look at the female Nosferatu vampires in Vampire the Masquerade, it's the same deal.Faces aside, the amount of outfits and the variations in them is awesome. Hope they're playable or we can at least get the clothes.
Agreed!Obviously Blizzard can make gorgeous cloaks but only make them for NPC's. Blizzard, whats the reason? Clipping/animation issues? Make it happen!
Looks like the withered have become vampires. Wish there could have been some better looking ones, while I like the idea and mogs, it would have been nice to have a variety in faces and bodies! Now we have cookie cutter vampires to choose from. Yay.
I love that they're not pretty though, especially the females. They look like proper creepy vampires! I also adore all the armour sets they're wearing! Why can't we have armour like that for our current characters? I'd love to see it! Even if it's just a cosmetic appearance you can unlock somehow for transmog! I feel like, if they were to become an allied race, they'd be Horde, while the Fauns would be Alliance.
i'd just like to point out that currently there's only one face type for females and one face type for males. y'all need to calm down. some of the other playable races have "ugly" options too. if these *do* become a playable race, surely there will be more options than just this one face for customization.
Ugh.Everyone wanted playable San'Layn - dark, cool-looking, sexy vampires introduced in Wrath of the Lich King, almost everyone's favorite expansion.Instead it looks like we'll be getting... a race of hideous Nosferatu with no previous establishment in the lore. Such are the ways of modern Blizzard...
Kinda sad how the playable Nightborne look more like these guys than their own race's NPCs.
TBH, they both have only 1 face per gender and I like them both despite my initial "Woof" thought of the females. They will get more face options eventually if they're to be an AR.Think about it though, do you want just another pretty face to dress up? I don't want them to be unbearable to look at ugly but I think I'd prefer if they weren't "pretty" because while they're "vampires" they aren't at the same time, they're Venthyr, a new race of people, not a new class. You can always just dress up your Belf to be dark and broody if you just like pretty faces. They even (basically) can be High Elves again....
Hordes you can have this bloody race . We Alliance don't want them .
Imagine if they would actually put this much effort into the races we can play. They have their priorities all backwards.
betcha if we get these as AR, they'll get the NB treatment and look nothing like their npc counterparts. :(
Frankly, I love the female vampire faces! They're very distinct and absolutely communicate the whole vampire vibe. I'd love for them to be an AR and keep the faces.
How gorgeous! So excited to do some questing for these guys and maybe have them as a AR! *Love*
Think in 2030 we will have those kinds of capes instead of the sheets of paper that we have?
I hope they are designing these covenant races with playability in mind, so that if we love them and if the story allows for them to be playable, we'll get the models we all seem to have fallen in love with (and not less-accurate models to the ones we fell in love with. I still like the nightborn but I can agree they don't look like the ones we all fell in love with..yet ;) So if the creators design the npcs with playability in mind, as much as possible, then cool for everyone because we'll receive the beings we love and blizzard will not have to do a whole lot because the groundwork was done in the beginning! Of course, I may just be being selfish because I don't know what the actual work is that goes into making fully playable characters that might only end up being used as npcs, but I think I'm on the right track as far as being resourceful, innovative and accurate. I am kind of blown away by how awesome these Venthyr vampires are, the clothes alone make me want to play as one or live in their realm. I hope our current races get cool, culture-themed civilian clothing someday. Love all the details, hairstyles and stuff too, really great. Love these and the Night Fae, haven't seen the others yet. Thanks!Snug
Blizz is there any way you can do anything about those faces, cause i love the aesthetic of Revendreath, the fantasy, the clothes (i hope they will give us some of those) and armor but my god i dont know if i can stay for 2 years looking at these things every day.Just please do something about it since its still in alpha, the males look ok and they remind me of witcher 3 but the females look like the nosferatu vampires from Vampire the masquerade,i just hope they will hear us
