Blizzard has released a cinematic edit for Varok Saurfang, weaving together key movements from his past Battle for Azeroth cinematics. This video is over 20 minutes long and contains
major spoilers
.
Blizzard's latest cinematic includes footage from "Old Soldier," "Lost Honor," "Safe Haven," and "Reckoning." showing how honor is an important concept for Saurfang, one that has weighed heavily upon him throughout Battle for Azeroth, serving as the centerpiece of each piece of book, quest, and cinematic media featuring the old soldier. Patch 8.2.5's War Campaign is the culmination of Saurfang's struggle, as he reflects on the dark deeds of the Old Horde and tries to grapple with how he can forge a new identity, as well as a new Horde, that leaves the cycle of blood and dishonor behind.
We've covered Saurfang's journey in more detail in the article

the slaying of Sylvanas will be the retribution the Horde needs, and will make Saurfang a legend in the eyes of the Horde.
She's going to win. You know this right?
So going into a fight he knew he couldn't win and the best he could do was to get Slyvanas to have an accidental slip of the tongue. Yup, that's quit a legend.
He stopped a huge battle that would have ended in mass bloodshed on both sides by doing what he did. Legend indeed

And he conveniently neglects to mention that he supported Sylvanas burning down Teldrassil.
Only because he didn't. At all. Whatsoever. Lord
Here you go champ.
Saurfang says in A Good War, that Sylvanas was right. She needed to inflict a wound that could not heal against the Night Elves because he failed to when he spared Malfurion.
It clearly states, by Sylvanas, that Saurfang's plan to deal a blow that could not heal was the death of Malfurion, not the burning of the tree, Sylvanas just decided to change directions when Saurfang couldn't kill him.
Correct. Sylvanas did it because the situation changed and called for it. And
that
is what Saurfang agreed on. Sylvanas made a choice. It wasn't the choice Saurfang would have wanted if things had gone his way but it's what was necessary to achieve their goals there.

What do you mean, Saurfang agreed? He wasn't consulted about burning Teldrassil, and he absolutely did not agree.
Nobody agreed. Even Nathanos hesitated.

Tell me again why they cant make there own WoW movie like this?
because the first movie failed but have no fear, diablo is in talks with Netflix about making a CGI animated diablo tv series. If only WOW DID THIS! I would not be surprised if a trailer is revealed at blizzcon.
Diablo's story is about the size of Saurfangs toenail.... Good game, but not story wise. If Netflix chooses Diablo over WoW for a series it's to please the Zombie and splatter fans out there, but I would be surprised to see any good story as a backbone. On a side note: I like to be surprised though...
Netflix outside of the Marvel series is a horrible series producer, especially when it comes to fantasy franchises.
Dark Crystal sucked TERRIBLY. They simply destroyed the entire point of a somewhat complex and quite satisfying story.
Diablo, which has a much flimsier story and current Blizzard's horribad writing team besides, is guaranteed to drive the fanbase to tears.
Well Diablo has pretty much backstory. Anu and Tathamet and the eternal conflict up to the creation of sanctuario has enough stuff for the series which will never be part of gameplay.

I believe each 5-6 minute cinematic takes months to make, and cost a whole lot of money. Putting together a 90 minute movie of this quality, would take years to make and the costs would probably be astounding. And yes, they have a whole lot of money, but bearing in mind they'd want to make a profit from release, and probably wouldn't make very much cos of the costs of production, they won't do it. Yet at least.

What they should do is a live action series, but now days would be too expensive... i imagine we could see a series in the end of the next decade
