I'm still not sure why some rogues specs retain the need to be behind the target while feral druids no longer have that requirement but windwalkers have gained that requirement. What was the benefit of having Windwalkers and Ferals trade places? Is Windwalker an exceptionally easy spec and it needed something more, and ferals were complicated and needed something less?
I like reading these
I "came back" for MoP because they promised a lot of new and exciting things, but it seems even more like a grind. When you want to competitively raid like I do, having to do 20 dailies, this and that, max this reputation and that one, it is extremely exhausting. You're playing a video game and you feel tired when playing it, it was that much "work" (lololol). However, I finally get a different vibe from this expansion. I'll give it another go and I hope it is exactly how it felt to me back in TBC and the beginning of WotLK.
Discipline has been dominating the raid healing scene for far too long, and is still triumphing over Holy. Will have to see if things even out once we reach 100; one can only hope.
WoD is gonna be fuuun.
Doesn't look like anything for shamans... :<
Glad they are updating the worgen and goblin models in WoD too at some point
None of that was that interesting or surprising, oh well.
So thankful for these live blogs - stuck working a double and this is perfect for catching up when I can grab a break. So pumped for WoD, the bigger picture for all these changes, and geeking out over the Warcraft movie deets!
:D
I wonder how healing is going to be with these changes.
I don't get why they combined the druid travel forms in the first place. :/
WoD looks amazing
This is the real problem for me, here. I like that we are making items more universally appealing, but doling out loot is already complicated enough, and now we're going to have holy pallies, warrior tanks and frost DKs all wanting the same item. I understand that we're trying to compromise here, but it could be detrimental to the raid group for my main monk tank and main resto Druid heal team lead to have to always fight for gear upgrades.
Hmmm...Interesting dynamic changes. I just hope they don't nerf Mortal Strike... Its awesome!
Alright a legendary ring over a weapon sounds better for the first part of warlords, hopefully around the 3/4th point or the endgame raid there will be a legendary weapon or weapons for multiple classes like in bc/cata. Its time for another xpack with 2 legendary items and not a gem. But all in all im ready for it xpack although im ganna have to wait a few months to get time to play it xD still cant wait.
It took me over a week to figure out the travel form change on my druid alt. I even submitted a bug report about my missing flight form.
Overall I've heard that the druid changes were pretty major, I didn't know it was quite that different though.
Good panel discussion, not so great questions.
The stat squish and ability pruning are definitely two of the key points as to why me and a lot of my friends have been so excited for this expansion.
