This was a great presentation! So excited to see the changes! Really made me want to pick my resto druid back up.
Love how they're making things simpler, like taking out all those extra moves that are sometimes unnecessary. Really excited to see how PvE will be more of a challenge in WoD, kinda miss those raids like Kara chess event. People don't get that classes right now at 90, will change once we are level 100. BC was one of my favorite expansions, excited to see how they are gonna go back to the roots of WoW.
I have to agree that the new healing changes are boss. And that's coming from a new player, not an older player. I love the healing changes. :)
What with healthstones being worse than potions from First Aid, and a neutered gateway, I fail to see how we're becoming utility over damage. That said, our damage at level 100 before the beta closed down wasn't fantastic, and if you're forced to move as Destro? GG.
I've mained tank for quite a while and have to say I do really enjoy the changed made in WoD, definitely a breath of fresh are compared to how MoP left us!
I was wondering if we'd need to upgrade loots again in WoD soo happy that will not be the case, as for the druid travel form QA that is not what i was hoping to see, if they plan to fix that with minor glyphs perhaps we need 1 or 2 more minor slots?
I'm excited that gems will be prismatic and the restrictions on the amounts enchants. I think it will fun not having to wait to put my new gear on in a raid
THIS IS MY COMMENT, THERE ARE MANY LIKE IT BUT THIS ONE IS MINE. MY COMMENT IS MY BEST FRIEND. IT IS MY LIFE. I MUST MASTER IT AS I MASTER MY LIFE. WITHOUT ME IT IS USELESS, WITHOUT MY COMMENT I AM USELESS.I WILL TYPE MY COMMENT TRUE, I MUST TYPE STRAIGHTER THAN MY ENEMY WHO IS TRYING TO REPLY TO ME, I MUST REPLY HIM BEFORE HE REPLYS TO ME….I WILL. MY COMMENT AND MYSELF KNOW WHAT COUNTS IN THE COMMENT SECTION IS NOT THE WORDS WE TYPE, THE NOISE OF OUR BURST, NOR THE SMOKE WE MAKE. WE KNOW THAT IT IS THUMBS THAT COUNT. WE WILL THUMBS UP…MY COMMENT IS HUMAN, EVEN AS I, BECAUSE IT IS MY LIFE. THUS I WILL LEARN IT AS A BROTHER, LEARN ITS WEAKNESSES, ITS STRENGTHS, ITS GRAMMAR, ITS ACCESSORIES, ITS PUNCTUATION AND ITS SPELLING. I WILL EVER GUARD IT AGAINST THE RAVAGES OF TROLLS AND DAMAGE. I WILL KEEP MY COMMENT CLEAN AND READY, EVEN AS I AM CLEAN AND READY. WE WILL BECOME PART OF EACH OTHER. WE WILL…BEFORE GOD I SWEAR THIS CREED, MY COMMENT AND MYSELF ARE THE DEFENDERS OF MY WEB, WE ARE THE MASTERS OF OUR ENEMY, WE ARE THE SAVIORS OF MY LIFE. SO BE IT, UNTILL THERE IS NO TROLLS BUT PEACE.
I still hate what they did to my SV hunter.
I respect their concept of " Easy to learn, hard to master" for the ability pruning and such, but hope that they add somethings that allow you to min max your dps by doing more than just your 3 button rotation correctly.
gooood
I don't care what they say, Warlocks got too much hate. Our portal teleports a few steps only, cookies are now simple health pots for people that run out of health pots, without fel flame now we feel useless on high movement encounters. I used to love my class, now I feel a carry in my raid groups...
I'm very happy with the way healing classes were changed. I liked healing before, but I felt that it was too easy for a few classes once you had a few pieces of decent gear. It now seems to be more challenging and there is more of a distinction between skilled and non-skilled healers despite having good gear. After playing the beta and the pre-patch, I am definitely looking forward to healing in WoD.
This all sounds pretty good, I'm just a bit worried that I'm going to be getting more gear from not fighting things. I don't want the best weapons etc. to ever be from crafting/garrisons, that stuff should be there to prepare you to take on the enemies that drop the real loot. As long as things remain that way I'm sure WoD will be awesome!
Removing the Hit/Expertise cap is a welcome change, as well as Reforging. Having to reforge EVERYTHING to conform to those two specific stats, along with whatever the community felt was required, became rather exhausting after the first 5 or 6 pieces of new gear. Not sure about removing item upgrades, though. Gave me a certain sense of "enhancement" to my equipment. As the hero, my items were more "empowered" than if some other schmuck picked it up and started swinging it around. Maybe in WoD, items won't need upgrading, or will feel like they don't. Only time will tell.Quest rewards having a random chance to be rare or epic quality is simply AMAZING. On Beta, completing a quest that seemed tough, killing some Iron Horde or plants or whatever, and the reward was a weapon worse than some level 90 piece of junk I brought with me, was kinda sad. Then BAM! Purple quality death machine! Out of the blue! Adds a whole new feeling of life to quest rewards now, and I like that.
Interesting decision but I really do hope they stick to their idea of limiting the amount of instant cast spells and in particular running while casting. Most classes have already lost their ''run and gun'' spells/abilities. But frost mages in particular are STILL spamming instant spells. In PvP there's almost 0 chance to get an interrupt on them. Hopefully we'll see a frostbolt or two during WoD
Personally, I can't wait to see the story behind that Legendary ring!
I'm so hyped for WoD, Feral druids sound like a solid class to be playing. Meow.
Love it!
I liked just about everything I saw with item changes, I'm glad I won't need to port to town to get set items anymore, and the idea of putting any gem I want into an item sounds promising. I'll still miss re-forging though.
