nice liveblogging
I can hardly wait for next week !
I miss my ghoul as a frost dk :(
Most of the Q&A was pretty lame but at least there were a couple of interesting questions.
they just removed most of usefull spells and ability and made wow too simple ...
interesting
Truly, the question for bringing a Retribution paladin is quite valid, even though this question did not change at any time. Bad luck, if you enjoy a melee DPS hybrid instead of a tank, healer or caster. Anyhow it is comforting not too much fell prey to pruning, although losing an instant AoE stun is rough to handle for one who used it on cooldown. (Survival) Hunters, on the other hand, do miss their Kill Shot. At least, there’s always reason for bringing any hunter to a raid.
So far the worst Blizzcon for me as a passionate WoW Player and Team-FPS Disliker. Of course the new xpac is coming in a few days, but there should have been at least a teaser to 6.1 in the opening ceremony. It felt like in the first panel they were using some of their 1 year old Powerpoint sheets. The only new thing for me was the prismatic socket stuff and maybe only because I missed socketed loot in the Beta or the information on wowhead. It was weird when Kris Zierhut was talking about now&then stuff ("...this is like healing looks "now" and here is what it will look like in 6.0...") because most of us are playing 6.0 already. I'm not expecting anything new from the panels anymore but hopefully there will be some "leak" when people are talking to devs outside of Q&As.
feels a bit that they expanded on the explanations given last Blizzcon, why they choose to do certain things.which isn't bad at all, i personally had hoped to hear some more new stuff. rather then repeats and more in depth explanations of things we basically already knew. What i did wanted to see was information and questions about unreleased Zones, the Talador Jungle with the main Iron Horde base and the unreleased Zone that becomes Netherstorm.but prehaps we will hear about that on another day.
WoD hype!
This expansion like oldschool
Keep up the good work blizzard, you're shaping lives in so many ways what you've done is amazing, last week I found out that my neighbor with two kids of 4 years was a hard core WoW player, she met her fiance on WoW and now all we ever do when we bump into each other instead of an awkward silence or "hello" it's, "Have you got the headless horsemen mount yet!" or "I'm just going to go in and one shot SoO tonight, it's been a long day" haha good times blizzard.Thank you.
While I'm mostly enjoying my fury warrior now, I think I've got too few buttons. Most of the time it's just two of them, with occasionally a third and fourth. Heroic strike as a rage dump that wasn't on the global cooldown felt a lot better than using wild strike, but maybe I'll get used to it.
how about asking them why DKs lost our minion
Looking good so far. I really like the direction they're going.
I really enjoy playing my hunter in WoD so far. I got to experience the Beta. But I gave them feedback that as a Beastmastery Hunter, I just felt they may have reduced the buttons TOO far. I feel like there is a lot of dead space in my rotation these days. But maybe, just maybe, its because I was so used to it being crazy button smashing the whole time. LOL I really do understand why they did it. On my other toons, like my druid, it really does feel better. Overall, I am really excited about WoW again!
The new combined flight-form ability of the druid is actually amazing. Before this, whenever I was swimming as a sea-lion I had to properly time my jump out of the water and click on flight form. Now it automatically changes, saving lots of time and hassle.Although the sense of "achievement" about getting it timed right is missing now, but oh well. :D
Some very interesting coments :D
omg omg omg :D
Looks good!
