Really mixed feelings here... For me the high point of the day was the new character models (I'm so sick of looking at my over-botoxed human female's face!) and the new collection/inventory changes - no surprise that got one of the biggest spontaneous cheers of the day. The idea of my looms and vanity items being usable on any character, any server and not cluttering up my bank is frankly about time. The garrisons also seem to be a rightly popular feature (I will call mine 'Sheldonopolis')...BUT...I'm gutted about this choice in expansion at this point in time. I know everyone likes to #$%^& and moan about new ideas and expansions, but throughout WoW's history I've been a huge and dedicated fan. No matter what mistakes were made I've always felt that overall it's an awesome game and they were just part of the experience and memories (get the violins out). I really like the expansion as a concept - I'm not about to get my knickers in a twist over the 'timey wimey issues' discussed in the panels - but I feel that having another Horde-centric expansion immediately after one where (lets be frank), a 'superpower' or not, the Alliance were very much supporting artists to a storyline that completely changed the face of the Horde, really marginalises the Alliance further. A victory over Garrosh for the Alliance is not a 'story' or discovery for the Alliance in itself. Despite this I've really enjoyed Mists, and I've been happy to sit back and watch the Horde chew each other's faces off, knowing (or so I thought) that our time would come, that Blizzard would redress the balance and ask some questions of the cultures, politics and loyalties in the Alliance and it's leaders, giving the Alliance it's depth, tension and excitement back. The argument is that we discover the Draenei pre-Burning Crusade in Draenor and save Karabor, but even the Draenei have been set up as so much less diverse, intricate, and political than the Orc Clans. Their key characters aren't the Mothers and Fathers of huge lore characters like Thrall. It's just not the same.TL:DR - I wish we were getting an expansion to balance the Horde/Alliance storyline focus, and then the NEXT expansion after that could be Warlords of Draenor, where Garrosh escapes imprisonment at that point and starts the ball rolling.Anyway, rant over and excited to see the rest of Blizzcon <3
The new talents are looking good. I reaaally hope they don't change the Warlock ones.
Oh my god, the amount of stuff they announced that I want so bad XD
The new character models just look awesome :)

Roll on the second day! heres hoping for the warcraft movie teaser they showed at pax! Just hope once garrisons are out we can somehow have our alts living/breathing there as that would be pretty damn cool.
These new talents are making me giddier than a little school girl...They look so much fun! I don't even play a hunter, but I love the concept of With or Without You! I feel like I'm about to explode with excitement! I NEED this expac!
I am so excited about all the new stuff they are doing with the new expansion! I can't wait for it to be released! I can't wait for more bag space again lol!
Next WoW expansion will be the end of third part bots.
I am really looking forward to the new patch, and seeing as i am a rather interested in lore i think it's a somewhat wierd way to go with the game tbh, but i can see how it would work.Good coverage so far Guys looking forward to see some more :)
Great coverage, looking forward to RoS and HotS!
Extreme Measures - Masochism, it makes me cry, poor, poor healers.
Wow so many new things ....and epic coverage! nicely done wowhead....!
Interesting Warlock talents, although Chaotic Resources / Destruction looks like a trap; however many embers you get hold of, I'm not sure it'll be worth entirely losing the ability to do meaningful AoE. On the other hand, sign me straight up for sacrificing a Doomguard.
Right, just spent 3 hours pouring over all of this information. My head aches but I'm very happy ^_^
really looking forward to warlords of draenor with all the new features mainly the new models
The new mage talents sound awesome. That Focusing Crystal I can see getting nerfed. :( Idk how yet, but I see it being useful during unattacking points between boss phases (if the new raids have any, some old ones do), and basically allow mages to begin attacking up to 10 seconds early, with a huge burst happening as soon as the new phase starts. I can also see a mage doing that too well, pulling aggro and getting themselves, if not the entire raid, killed.
man o mam i cant wait
