Never played Vanilla. Would love, love LOVE to give it a shot though! And possibly even get the black qiraji battle tank early on :)
Classic requre many times for play, i can not afford it. And i like always new content - it's interesting!
I'm very much hoping that stuff can be shared account wide between Vanilla servers. That would be a compelling reason for me to participate!
WTB Gates of An'Quiraj event, I joined in TBC and damn I wanted to have done that.
>Will they be free if you have an active sub?I hope not. They have this perfect opportunity to squeeze every penny out of nostalgia people.
Will definently give it a try, But i think people will realize the annoying this outweigh the good things about vanilla.
Really feel like this is a waste of development dollars that could be going into new IPs from Blizzard, but whatever.
I joined WoW short time before Cataclysm expansion, so I have very little exerience with classic WoW. Will be fun to try playing on that kind of server, to see how much Wow changed.
Never really got to appreciate classic wow. Really looking forward to the experience
I think they wont make it completely vanilla but they add some stuff to make it easier trackable like mount/pet journal (not account wide)
Someone should take them up on the offer to donate or let them use or reference one of those server blades they auctioned off ;)
People have gotten spoiled. I want the VANILLA experience, all "not-quality-of-life" stuff included. No account-wide anything, mounts in bags (SMALL bags), and all that shizzle.
I think they're smart in making ONE server. After the hype dies out, most people (of course not all) will see that it just isn't as easy or fun as they remember.
Loved Allens tangent of ice cream. It also took me way to long to figure out where he was going... (although I already knew about the vanilla servers becomming official)
It's not classic if it's not 1.21. The point is for it to BE challenging. Not have all the new frills which make the game boring for original players.
Love how every question Perc asked wasn't answered, and like a good interviewer she stopped right there and didn't dig at all or demand any answers. Trump-Quality work there!
