This movie will be either awesome or suck hard. The proof will be in the budget for the CGI, I expect.Pre-order tickets on B-net was a pretty cool idea!
It was kinda crappy to see that all they could really do was assure us that they won't mess up. The sad part is San Diego Comic-con got to see a concept video and all we got was the name of two characters.
I am so unbelievably excited for this. Draenei lore incoming!
Absolutely awesome ! Can't wait to see it or at least see a preview.. I hope they will make it as a triology :)
When they said it would be Lothar and Durotan I was extremely pleased. I couldn't ask for a better time period!
I'm glad they're making it balanced between Horde and Alliance, or at least intend to.
I want to be an actor in the movie! They should send out a notice to us somewhere for casting calls! I want to be an actor in the movie even if its not a major roll! OMG Im so excited, I just hope it lives up to everyone's expectation.
Hopefully it's better than most video game movies.Hint: they suck.
Man I can't wait for the cinematic for the next expansion!A friend of mine and I bought virtual tickets for Blizzcon 2013 and we talked through skype for hours (while watching blizzcon) and we're both crazy about Warlords of Draenor!I'm sooo going to love the fact that I'm going to be able to hang out with all my friends in my Garrison too! Gosh I'm really looking forward to this!
I am really excited about this film. Most of my fears have been calmed.
Can you cast Chuck Norris?I think the question is can I not cast him?Clearly this man gets it.
This could be pretty good, or very, very bad. Eventually someone is going to make a good video game movie, hopefully this is it.
My biggest questions about this is: When will the story take place? What part of the Warcraft universe will this happen in? With WoW being so massive, to include areas where even time travel (Caverns of Time & now the upcoming Expansion) happens, it makes the entire universe open in both time and space. Most movie series try to begin with an "Origin" to tell the story to those who may not have been apart of it originally. Take any given superhero film, you never read the comics so you don't know how it all began, and sometimes (depending on the story) the movie will be hard to follow if you don't know certain things. WoW, in my opinion, would be quite similar - Hard to get into without knowing why it is as it is in the first place. So if you are marketing only to WoW players, or to a more general audience, would answer a few questions to start with. Marketing to WoW players will mean that you can easily get away with a text/narrated "back story" just to tell enough to know where and when you are in the universe. Where as going for a general audience means that the story should be set early in the universe timeline, and such text/Narration should only cover basic events in Warcraft 1, 2, & 3... Mostly 3. This being said, it seems, from what has been said so far, like they are going for an early timeline story. Great, but now the question arises: Direct gameplay storyline or or offshoot story that we only got the main info in the game? If they go gameplay, then we as fans know what is going on easily, where a general audience might get a bit lost from time to time. So I expect that it will be a bit of both, mostly an offshoot story (like we seen in Novels and Comics) with some aspects of the actual play universe thrown in for the fans. In this way they can easily explain what is happening in the "Play Universe" parts of the story with the "Offshoot" storyline. Live action of CG? Really, who cares? It is the story, the feel and the look we want to see. CG would make it easier for us to see the film in the universe we are used to. Live Action would allow us to see it in a new way. But at the end of the day, what we really want is a good story. That is the important part. And I think Blizzard will not let us down on that count.
Do We have a Date on when the Trailer will be available to watch?
I thought the Halo Movie was pretty sick ^_^

Even though I hate the use of this aspect in the game, I just really want this movie to be accessible. Nothing kills a movie worse than tailoring it to people who have an intricate knowledge of what's happening and what should happen (Dune).
Will definitely be going to see this when it comes out!
With this director at the helm, I'm thoroughly looking forward to this movie!
