Great guide, thank you very much! I especially appreciate the bug tips.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Nice guide, but there are companion pets as a reward at the end. They were available in 1.10, so they should also be in Classic. In fact, the Wowhead Classic Companion Pet guide includes the three available Children's Week pets.
I just completed the quest chain and you could choose one of the pets as a reward, like in the original vanilla version.
I keep seeing this passive-aggresive posts against Classic. I think Classic player doesn't care about what Retail have, and "how much better it is compared to Classic", etc. Maybe i'm the only one that see this wave of bittersweet news in Classic page.
Very poor wording on this article. "In Classic, there are no battle pets; the only rewards are experience and a good amount of Horde or Alliance reputation."There are still pets, though. All pets are battle pets in retail, but pets existed in WoW since Vanilla. Most people aren't going to do these quests if they think its just for experience and rep. You get to choose between one of 3 unique pets at the end as well - Whiskers the Rat, Piglet the Pig, or Speedy the Turtle.
Agreed, but perhaps more important than the pets is the option to select the Curmudgeon Sack of 5 gold, which for low-level players can be huge. And if you have an army of alts, that gold quickly adds up.Please edit this soon; I'd hate to think there are players skipping this because they don't realize the reward value.
Thanks for this perculia and RENATAKANE!Great guide. Great content as always.
Just one thing. The guide seems to be on the BFA Wowhead interface. As a premium user, I love my Thottbot theme. :) Hope you guys can put the guide up on the classic.wowhead domain.
The guide would be great (classic version) if it didnt have the major flaw that it 'forget' to mention you can choose between 3 pets or a bag of 5 gold on the last quest. This should be fixed ASAP, considering theres only a few days left!
In classic you still get a pet at the end of the chain quests, Piglet's Collar, Rat Cage, Turtle Box or a bag of goodies (Curmudgeon's Payoff).
Thoroughly enjoy how Blizzard don't give two *!@#s about adding Classic events to the classic launcher or have it known ingame somehow.
They don't really want you to play classic too much, they hope you'll go back to retail.
