This phase will make so many quit, people have no idea what they're in for. On the honor screen there's a kill counter, any level enemy increases this number. If you're not already 60, you wont be leveling. Once blizzard sees the dramatic drop in players due to 24/7 ganking they will push phase 3 even faster.
I think this is fine, but Phase 3 with battlegrounds needs to come out fairly soon afterward. By the time Phase 2 comes out almost everyone will have a main at 60 and will be doing high end PVE or just waiting for battlegrounds. World PVP is fun and all, but it's not really available at non-peak hours, etc. I'm not that interested in raids/dungeons, never was - for other people that's great, but I find them to be tediously long and boring. Battlegrounds can be done more quickly, are unpredictable, etc. I earned Commander rank during vanilla and would like to try for that again, as crazy as it sounds, but obviously can't until Phase 3 comes out. There are a lot of other people like me who have returned for Classic, so they really need to pay attention to the needs of this giant section of the population. As long as Ion isn't running too much of it (I've heard Classic has a separate group of devs who are mostly in charge, thank god) then I am optimistic, as he is one of the worst things ever to happen to this product and company.
Aren't we already in late 2019? Only 3 months to fully cycle out before its 2020. That's the rest of this, Nov. and Dec. to go. So if phase 2 was scheduled for before 2020, then they are just on track.
Keyring MVP
Too soon! Should have time to savor each content phase because once it is out, there's no going back**Unless blizz creates seasons a la Diablo or something similar.

This is all exciting with the Key Ring being the best addition. :)
Thank the Light, the keychain is coming to save our bank slots.
More like a few hours. No leveling means little barrier to entry. Plus this isn't even a raid patch. I really think they should have released the game in a complete state rather than spoon-feeding the meager content updates.
