Well my most expensive purchases were always the pets specially the TCG ones, and gametime of-course :)
My most expensive action house item was taht flying golem with can herb on mounting. I had a massive luck there, cause of gettin in on Pandaria for only 30k gold. ^-^ Some days I will have enough gold for playing WoW without spending money.. and i will do it with herbalism! <3
I don't use the AH a lot,but I bought an I think 150 gold warlock robe. I have to say it was not worth it.
would probably have to be Jeweled Onyx Panther when it was 200k on Cenarius and i bought all of it's required reagents so 400k for all the panther (red, green, yellow, blue, and black) mounts as a gift for someone's birthday :3
It would be a Vial of the Sands, I've been tempted by some of the trading card mounts but the sandstone drake was something I could afford, and it was very useful since I did not have the two person rocket at the time. It has since been replaced by my new Blizzcon mounts.
I'm still fairly new at gold farming, so I haven't had much money to spend. My biggest set of Auction house buys were for my Herald of the Titan tank (Chants etc) and a few pieces of gear :)
The most expensive AH purchase I ever made was when I bought 2 Spectral Tiger Cubs as a way to help move excess gold when I did a realm transfer. The initial plan was to resell them, but shortly after I moved the character, my eldest son started playing WoW with me, so I kept one and gave the second one to him as a "Welcome to Azeroth" present. He's still fairly young and doesn't understand the value of the pet, but I think in a few years when he does he'll be amazed.
The most expensive thing I ever bought on the AH would be the tome for the warlock green fire quest. I was too lazy to farm on the isle of thunder for it.
I don't frequent the AH, though my friend who couldn't be bothered to unlock flying in legion made me buy a Vial of the Sands for 22k, so that I could be his glorified taxi service.
My most expensive thing that i bought on the auction house was a gruuk's evil eye for 40 k.because a friend of mine told me that it was the strongest item in the game,so I found it in the auction house and used up all the gold i saved for a wow token because I was told i'd make it back in a week.
I don't really use the AH for anything but selling and buying time. So I guess you could say the most expensive item I've bought is the WoW Token.
Most Expenssive was a mount, It was the Reins of Poseidus, cost me 400k.Still pretty cheap in my realm but it took me awhile to get the gold :)thanks for the giveaway
I'm only playing on retail for a month and a half, but my most expensive purchase would be the ruby panther. Bought it for cheap, selling for standard. If anyone wants a ruby panther, you can hmu on Aggramar EU. Just wisp Aewass.
Not very special, but Darkmoon trinkets always burn a small hole in my pocket each expansion when I can't be bothered to level my scribe. Absolutely worth it as a healer, though.
My most expensive AH purchase was a 55K Sapphire Panther. Really nothing in the big scheme of things. I tend not to buy much off the AH because I have a terrible fear of spending all my gold. One day I'll get over that.
My most expensive AH purchase so far has been the Spectral Tiger Cub for about 50k last year. My favorite cub <3
Couple of crafted Legendaries for 65k to 75k. I tend to spend more at the AH on mats I just don't have time to farm rather than single purchases.I have already crafted most of the prof mounts both for myself & framily.

To date my most expensive in game purchase has been the reins of the Crimson Deathcharger - I cant recall how much but I think it was close to 100k? I have my eye on the flameward hippogryph, any hippogryph really, and of course the Rooster mount because I am a crazy chicken lady. Thanks for all your hard work on this segment!
I spent 93k on a cat. It was the last one I needed for Crazy Cat Lady!
