Who in their right mind would 'waste' anima on 'temporary stuff', like gear? The 1% of hardcore playerbase, I presume?Because one can 'buy everything' in ONE COVENANT, but there are 4, and you'll eventually farm them too. If Blizz wanted an 'anima sink', they should first made it possible to 'cage and send' anima to alts, for example. The game, as it stands, to be 'well' played, one must create and 'play' with more than 1 character, and I thought they had 'learned' that since Legion, but no. They get us 4 'different storylines' in SL and 'expect' that the systems they put in are 'enough'? On the contrary, they should sincerely think about 'time spent', not by one character, but more than one, in each content.
One of my posts made it in a wowhead article, nice!kaychak1982's mastery of the baubleworms is impressive. However, I'm not surprised that he didn't cover the amethyst variant. You know, the 10000 pet charm one.I went out of my way and farmed the charms with my alt army in a little over a month so I was ready to buy one come 9.1's release. It did not sell for a million or more like everyone predicted. I ended up selling it for 650k because I needed the gold for tokens/game time.In retrospect, this should've been obvious. None of the baubleworms are listed as useful battle pets on Xu-Fu's website, so these are for collection purposes-only. The other three variants have a manageable vendor and AH prices, but who would want to spend six or seven digit numbers on a pet that isn't a TCG or game store one?I'm sure more patient players can wait it out and get their big cashout, but for someone who's used to selling mats and other stuff that gets bought fast, this was not a good fit for me.I think the delay of 9.1 was bad in this case since it allowed an unprepared player like me to get all the charms. If I could do it, others could do the same. If the patch would've came out a month or two earlier, the hype would be higher and so would be the price, but this way some people could farm the pet by themselves.
16m gold made so far this patch. Made it pretty much just crafted gear, and fairly steady sales at that. I'm about to have to make a new alt to store gold on which is a bit sad considering I only made my first goldcap at the end of BFA. Gold has lost all meaning. :P
Made 13m gold with just crafting leatherworking legendary bases this patch, I made 20m at the start of shadowlands. If you're smart enough, just abuse of the market the moment a new patch releases, new stuff = more money, I don't even use TSM, its a waste of time, if you really want the gold, transform yourself into a bot, tryhard a bit and you can easily beat anyone using TSM. Right now in my realm legendary bases are selling roughly for 130k, while with materials you are investing around 100k, so market is falling apart, my best advice? Sell korthian crystals, farm some anima, do a couple of runs in Korthia, if you get a bit lucky, you can find 5-6 crystals.
Sad there is no SEC in game.
Your stored anima sadly does not transfer when you swap covenants. I recently swapped my mains covenant and you lose all of your stored anima, and souls. So if you are capped on your covenant you can freely spend your excess anima without worry.
